Aljibani Market is a local Middle Eastern grocery store with a modest deli-style counter where one can also order from a selection of Arabic meals prepared to-go. I recently returned from a lunch at Aljibani and was thoroughly pleased with my plate. My meal, the falafel plate, is prepared right in front of you with fresh ingredients. The serving size was quite generous and came at an affordable price. By far it was the best falafel dish that I had in recent memory--very fresh vegetables combined with the rich seasoning and spices cooked within the falafel served with pita bread sealed the deal for me. There are a large variety of traditional and exotic soft drinks as well as snacks and desserts that one can find in the market to add to the meal. The only drawback could be the potential wait time if there are several customers ordering food because there is only one cook behind the counter. Though there are a couple of tables and chairs outside, one might easily not have a place to sit during peak hours, and therefore it may be necessary to take the packaged to-go meal back to the office or home.
