Service is the standout here - 6 stars! First off, it’s def a mom and pop shop and seems like the couple are the only/main staff when we went. We were welcomed the moment we arrived, but not rushed. Had lots of questions and they answered everyone one, almost too honest :). We had our dog with us and very politely asked if we would like to eat there and if so, they would set us up outside. Just a bout the nicest way to say dogs not allowed inside, but never did ask us to take him outside even while ordering. They also provide you with gloves so we wouldn’t get our hands dirty. How awesome is that! The final kicker was the 10% discount for DB Restaurant week that we didn’t even ask or know about (there was a big sign though :)

Settled on the mozzarella and pepper Jack corn dogs to start. The owner showed us that the corn dog was half cheese and half dog so we wouldn’t be surprised. Also suggested we try as intended with the sugar coating. Personally, I will order without sugar next time as I like my savory food savory, but understand the appeal of savory with sweet. 4 stars.

Next up with the fried chicken wings - gloves included! Genius. All wing shops should consider it. Would save on napkins at the very least. Delish and huge! Why can’t all wing shops use these larger wings!!! 5 stars.

Finally the ramen. It was made from packaged ramen, but the owner was very clear about that (the almost too honest part). I would have noticed, but glad they were honest about it. Can’t be too mad because the price is right. They do add ingredients like Kim chi, egg and spices to kick it up and definitely hit the spot. 4.5 stars.

Going to have to try a few other dishes next time, like the katsu sandwich and curry, but definitely think this place is...

Came here on a Monday afternoon. This is a small family business that knows what they are doing!!! Saw mom and pop working, they greeted me, took my order kindly and started cooking. I ordered almost $100 of food and all of it was so gooood. The Katsu sandwich is perfectly fried and the bread is so soft! The vegetables in the sandwhich compliment it well as does the spicy sauce dip that comes with it! The French fries are perfectly cooked, not soggy and just the right amount of salt. The Korean dogs are immaculate! Crunchy, cheesy, and somehow juicy, it satisfies all your Korean dog needs. You can get different toppings; I got ramen and didn’t regret adding it. The popcorn chicken had that perfect Korean flavor while being spicy (you can option for your spice levels). And finally, the tteokbokki is just as good as any other high-end Korean restaurant. Spicy with a tang of sweetness and comfort. Overall- great service, food, and price for everything! Highly recommended if you...

Family owned Korean spot with Korean corn dogs and katsu. Ordered takeout from here on a Friday for lunch, and placed my order over the phone (they didn’t have an online ordering option). You pay for the food when you pick up. Our order took about half an hour to get ready. Credit cards accepted.

We got an original Korean corn dog, which had a beef hot dog inside a Panko crusted exterior. The bread was chewy and had a mochi-like texture, which we enjoyed. The pork katsu had two pieces, rice, and a slaw. It’s good for two people to split. We also got an order of rice cakes, which is good for 3-4 people. We paid extra to add cheese and udon. We got medium spicy, which was decent; I think we could have gotten spicy and it...

Great spot for Korean-Style Street Food here in Diamond Bar. Literally a “mom & pop/family owned & operated” business by Chef Allen and his wife and daughter. I’m trying some of their most popular items. First up the Korean-style Hotdog. So, you bite in and right away it’s delicately crispy and sweet! This is not a corn dog which is made with cornmeal, this is made with regular flour so it’s a different consistency., more along the lines of bread. Inside is mozzarella cheese and a hotdog. It’s surrounded by a chewy breading that’s dipped in a batter and fried until GBD (Golden Brown & Delicious) and coated in a little sugar. It’s huge and so good, practically a meal by itself. Next up is the Kimchi Fried Rice topped with an egg over easy. The portion is huge, and it is tangy, sweet, a little crunchy from the bean sprouts, and even just a tiny bit spicy 🌶️ Next, the Pork Katsu, in my opinion, the star of the show! I’ve never tasted something fried so perfectly. The coating was light and delicate, and the prork juicy. And you can tell they really know what they’re doing by serving the pork on a wire rack so it doesn’t get soggy on your plate. This was so delicious with the Katsu dipping sauce, or I even loved the sweet chili sauce drizzle over the top - you can also dip it in the curry bowl - or trust me it’s perfect on its own! 🐷🐽🐖 Finally, the most delicious Spicy Rice Cake Soup - known as Tteokbokki soup - in my opinion, the star of the show! Chewy rice cakes, fish cakes, a steamed egg, veggies, traditional Korean rice syrup, and good dose of secret spices! It is the absolute ultimate Korean Comfort Food. Warm, spicy, silky, sweet, tangy, chewy - you have to try this when you visit! . 📍HUNGRY BULLDOG HOUSE 20627 Golden Springs Dr. Diamond Bar, Ca. . . . . . #koreanfood #diamondbar #lafoodie #ocfoodie #hungrybulldoghouse #grubwithgreg #grubwithgregapproved
