I'm usually a regular here, probably come at least once a week.. Won't be coming here anymore after today.. Came in got my usual half beef half tendon noodle soup. When the waitress brought out my food I saw her thumb dip into my soup. At first I thought I was tripping, but right after she brought my bowl she went to another table to take their order and I saw her wipe her thumb on her pants.. I usually would kind of let that slide cause I grew up on all the Chinese and Viet restaurants in the SGV and it's kind of something that happens.. I wanted to let her know I saw it and that she should be more careful about because some customers would be having a cow.. I politely asked her to come back and told her what I saw and that not everyone would be cool with it. To my surprise, she completely denied that it happened and started arguing with me about it.. I told her to stop and asked for the manager. Manager came and apologized and offered me a new bowl.. I told her I wasn't trying to make an issue out of this and asked her how she would feel and if she would eat this bowl of noodles if I had dipped my thumb in there. Again, to my surprise, she said she would eat it.. Left me speechless that she would answer a customer that regularly comes in on a weekly basis with an answer like that. She ended up bringing out a new bowl but guess what... The bowl she brought out was half the size of the first one with less meat and less noodles... They lost a customer after today.. Definitely the place to go if you're...

Read moreOne of the best noodle/dumpling houses in the area if not most of socal.
The dumplings and baos are soupy. You really can't go wrong with any.
The house beef noodle soup (d1) and tomato beef noodle soup (d4) are my favorites. The beef is pretty tender and the soup is really flavorful. The noodles are standard but they allow you to sub for other noodles if you don't like the standard circular tube ones. The only pity is that they don't offer wide noodles like some places.
The teas are pretty good too and hella bang for the buck. You get a gigantic cup for $5.
Overall this is def the gold standard of tw beef noodle soup and...
