Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Diamond

This Location is horrible. Teens who don't seem to care about the business. There were three people that I could see through the front window sitting at the tables apparently not doing anything. When I ordered a cake and ask to put names on it. They told me there was nobody there that could do that. Then I went up to window to purchase cake and handed the girl at $50. Bill and she came back and rudely told me they could not accept my money. When I asked for a name or a number to call to complain about that I was told very rudely that I could just leave. I should have read all the other reviews complaining about this location before I stopped. I drove to the one in braidwood a couple of miles away and had a very nice experience with them. This has got to be the absolute worst DQ I’ve ever seen! I spend a great deal of time in Diamond/ Coal City because of my children’s activities. This DQ is almost never open in the evening, and when it is, it is only open in the drive through. I mean who has heard of a DQ closing at 5pm on a Wednesday evening in the summer?! I have tried to patronize this establishment a number of times this summer and not been able to give them my money! I’m pretty sure they are trying to go out of business at this point. Probably the worst DQ ever. Here is a short list of the problems we had.

The shake had nearly no ice cream in it. Didn't taste good. 2.The hot dogs were simply microwaved and inedible with stale bread. They don't serve hamburgers or fries and the menu is a joke. Only chips and bags of chips?!?! Service was slow and they got our simple order wrong in three ways. The soda was warm. No one was nice.

They couldn't have done worse if they tried.

Please don't go to this DQ. Hopefully we won't get sick from...
