It's been years since my wife and I have tried this place. We recently went twice to eat here and it is much better than what I remembered it last.
The service both times was good. The first waitress was attentive and the second waitress was alright. She lost track of us for a moment but, there was another waitress who was able to refill my drink.
We got calamari both times and it was delicious. Both times it wasn't greasy and the marinara sauce was good. The first time it we got just the rings and the second time we requested for tentacles also and got them. That's my favorite part is the tentacles. The crunchy texture is great.
Wife got one of their Alla Casa with chicken. She loved it the past and the creamy sauce. The chicken was well cooked. One thing she did wish she had was maybe a slice of lemon to add some acidity.
I got their pepperoni pizza extra crispy. I've found that is the way to order it if you do not like floppy pizza. Just the right amount of cheese. Could be a little more pepperoni or even the small cup pepperoni would make it nicer.
All in all a good place to come for lunch or dinner. I would recommend this...
Read moreWe did have to wait over 20 min after being seated, to even have a waitress come to the table...though we were one of only 4 tables tonight. However, it was just some miscommunication & management was kind to make up for it with a complimentary homemade dessert - which was excellent. Only thing that really kept this place from truly getting a 5 star rating was the food itself. The bread/garlic knots brought to the table were quite dry. Like a frozen type bread. The meal I ordered though, was why I couldn't give a full 5. The pasta combo is basically described as 3 pasta dishes. It comes served side by side in a single ramekin with cheese melted over the top. While the flavor is nice, you honestly can't tell the difference between those pastas by taste, much less by appearance. I originally wanted to order panned veal but was told they "were out of breaded veal"...that they only had "not breaded left", which leaves me to believe it's perhaps frozen product. Like I said, flavors were good so I will try another dish to know where I definitively stand. Wish this had offered authentic N.Y style brick oven pizza but I will say, their...
Read moreFirst time trying out Aroma’s. Service was good. Very friendly waiter. Food was excellent! Tortilini with Vodka sauce, delish, filling. Eggplant Parmesan was very good too. The sauce they make is very really good. They said they make there own pasta and you can tell. Calamari was fresh fried, and perfectly fried. Only a coupe of things I really didn’t like but I had to give them a 5 star anyway because the food was quality and excellent so I wanted to say that first. Atmosphere lacking. Bright lights, no covers on fluorescent lights. music was not good at all, radio with commercials. I’m prickly when it comes to ambiance so I mention these things. If they had great music and lighting that fit an Italian Restaurant with the quality of food they have they could charge more and no one would mind. But with all that said we will DEFINITELY be...
