La Flauta Cantina and Grill — Restaurant in Diamondhead

Visited there on 3/29/21 between 3 - 4, and the food was not the greatest. My fiance and I ordered the guacamole to go with our chips and salsa prior to ordering our food, and it was literally just avacado mixed with no seasoning or anything (and was roughly $5). My fiance thought it was odd that they didn't serve chile rellenos - but we proceeded to order our food anyway since we had our 3 year old who was hungry. I ordered the enchiladas supreme, fiancé ordered chimichangas, and one of the kids meals for our son. The food was so incredibly bland - absolutely zero seasoning seemed to be used at all. This place isn’t worth your time. We ordered online and got nothing we asked for... over $70.00 worth of food. I had to go back up and have then replace the Order for my family. Seeing how this order was freshly made again. We get home and food was still missing even after asking if the order was fully completed this time. Please check your food before you leave. The restaurant only have two people at the bar when I was trying to fix the mistake. I spent a hour waiting and still didn’t receive good service. I myself have been in a restaurant setting job so I understand mistakes. This was unacceptable for the convenience of my busy family. Traveling through and the wife wanted fajitas, and two for one margaritas. She enjoyed her meal, but commented the chips seemed old (I suspected the high humidity inherent in the area) I had a burrito, covered in chili con carne. The beef in the burrito could have used a little more seasoning, but the chili made up for it. (We enjoy a little spicier Mexican food than the average person, so if I tell you it's mild, you may need a antacid) The service was a little bit slow, but the restaurant was busy, and our waitress was doing double duty making drinks, so it's forgivable.
