517 Bar — Restaurant in Dickinson

I went to the 517 bar tonight. I live in Dickinson so I have frequented this bar many times over the last 20 years. I played Pink Floyd's Echoes on the jukebox, costing me 1 dollar. The patrons and the bartender did not like my choice of music, so they rejected it. I talked to the bartender and after consideration she gave me my 1 dollar back. Her reasoning....This is a redneck bar..we don't need or like that music...I explained to her I had been coming to that bar for 20 years and had never had a compliant about what I played on the jukebox. It is not her place to reject the music I play and pay for on the jukebox. Later on in the night, someone played 3 Pantera songs in a row and none of those songs were rejected or...

If I could give zero stars I would! They selectively banned people for ridiculous reasons without explanation. The little bald guy with the glasses is terribly disrespectful to women and shouldn’t be allowed to work with the public. One of the female bartenders is selectively nice depending on what day you go in there… They will not get another penny of my money. Do yourself a favor and go to Ronnie’s icehouse… Customer service there...

This was my first time, I can say when I think of a bar in Dickerson this is the place I imagine, good or bad, drinks were good, service started out good but kinda went down hill when I went to close out, the bartenders literally ignored me talking and chatting it up with people and the drunk/crackhead guy that kept appearing out of the woods out back was comical and concerning, not really my scene but can't say really...
