Dunks Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Dixon Township

I'm fuming!! We have eaten here SEVERAL times. Until tonight, I have never seen such poor customer service and deliberate mischarge. They advertise "Free salad bar with every meal" and says on the menu "Salad bar can be added to app for $4" There were 6 of us. 2 adults, 4 children. Mind you, one was only 9 months old so she didn't eat or drink anything but a few Crackers because she only has 2 teeth. My son and I both got Salad bar. My son is 6. My tequila sunrise was in one of those little plastic cups and my other half had 2 drinks. Blonde Cherry bombs. One was in a little plastic cup, other full size. We average about $64 when we go in. But tonight it was $97. When I asked them why they said we had. Service charge because there were 6 of us. We have never been charged that before and I told her that. She was INCREDIBLY RUDE. And says, "You probably have, you just didn't know" by that response, I was fuming. I went back to our table, grabbed my other half and him take care of it. And the waitress told him that we got charged because our BABY was loud. Un-f*cking-believable. The nerve on this woman! That woman doesn't belong in the food and beverage industry!!! She didn't check in, and she didn't even smile. I got there before my other half and I told him I didn't like her because she put off a bad vibe. There is plenty of free parking and 1 handicap space. The seating was plentiful for all sizes of parties from 2 to 10, there are booths, standard tables and chairs, high tables and stools or you could sit at the bar, a sign saying seat yourself would be nice. The restrooms were convenient and easy to access. The service was outstanding. Our server came right over and took our drink and appetizer order and gave us time to look at the menu. We were there during the dinner hour and there was plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner, hot, fresh and as we ordered it. We ordered the combo appetizer platter it came with deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken strips and onion rings. One person ordered the chicken bacon pesto wrap and onion rings, one ordered the chicken strip meal with fries, and the last person ordered bacon cheeseburger meal with tater tots, all the meals came with the soup and salad bar. The soup that night was broccoli cheese and there was a nice variety of salad to choose to choose from. The prices were pretty average...

Ordered a mobile carry out for 5:15 over an hour in advance. I got there sat around for over 20 minutes. Multiple servers went to check on my order and told me nothing when they went to look. I got the food finally and went out to my car. The salads we ordered were missing, so I went back in. A heavy set server with dark hair gave me the most condescending attitude in helping me with my incorrect order and told me it was their “peak time.” Half the restaurant was empty and I watched as employees stood around. What awful service. The “have a nice day” with the tone she used was in my opinion unacceptable in establishing a new business. I do not recommend mobile carry outs, no matter how far in advance you order. Also, I believe they should allow more training in serving customers and screening for those who give attitude to customers. An order placed over 1 hour in advance should not be so long of a wait just to be incorrectly prepared and...
