Went with the highest of hopes. Waited in line in the unshaded heat, paid close to $70 for 2 hot dogs, pretzel bites, the fish tacos, chicken fingers, 2 milkshakes and a slushee. Which, in my opinion is wayyy overpriced for a roadside stand type restaurant. The fish tacos were bland. The pretzel bites were hard and there was no dipping sauce. My kids got the bison hot dog without the toppings. Thankfully one looked at her hot dog before she bit in. There was a sticky, unknown greenish black substance in her hot dog. Both hot dogs were somewhat burnt, but this was not gristle. we all lost our appetites after looking at it, trying to determine what it was. There was a line so we did not wait to return it or get a refund but, with all this said....I WANTED to love this place. It definitely came recommended with all the hype and it’s local! Maybe we will be back for shakes and slushees only. I feel I’m probably being generous with the 2 stars.

Basic old school burger stand. outdoor seating. As I was in a cycling kit, didn’t want fancy atmosphere anyway. Anyway, the Caprese Burger special was outstanding. Juicy, flavorful, big hunk of tomato and delicious pesto sauce added a nice hit of salt

The fries were crispy and delicious. Burger was great, the bottom bun was small and soggy so I had to eat it upside down, still very good. Overall enjoyed it. Will be coming back. 20$ for a big burger fries dipping sauce , soda and tip

We were extremely disappointed in the service bc of the girl that was taking orders. There were 5 adults and 4kids in our group the kids were really looking forward to ice cream after dinner. We got there at 6:33pm unfortunately we didn’t realized they CLOSED at 7pm and no unfortunately, I didn’t look at the website for hours, my fault. But we have never been treated this way either in the 20yrs we have been coming here. There were ppl eating whn we arrived, so we didn’t think much about pulling in to place an order. The girl working the counter was terribly RUDE to ALL not just us! Her attitude was just awful! She was upset whn we ordered bc it was 25 or so min before closing time. The kids also wanted ice cream but I said after your meal. But bc they were closing she couldn’t accommodate the cones, after they were done eating. I asked could I pay now and could you dispense the cones before you leave? I was thinking they had clean up to do and would have time. She said she could at 7pm but not later bc she was trying to get out of there and they didn’t have clean up bc it was done and I said ok thank you. I get it I understand. So I told the kids they could have milk shakes instead of cones bc they wouldn’t be done eating by the time they closed at 7pm. So I went back to the counter at 6:50 and ordered 3 milk shakes instead. I was surprised bc shakes now come in a small cup, I wish I could post a picture because I took one next to a can of Coke. It’s the same exact size as a canna Coke. It’s a small cup that is not typical Frosty size..This was surprising to me bc of the size. I did ask why they were so small in a small cup she did say bc the governor outlawed styrofoam, I said oh ok thank you. All the while I was waiting on the shakes I ordered, 3 other families pulled up w 10min to spare before closing time she was really UPSET. The girl said” we’re closed!” The woman apologized said she didn’t realize what time they closed, she rolled her eyes and angrily said “IM TRYING TO GET OUT OF HERE!” The lady politely apologized and left! The other families stayed and ordered anyway! There were two young boys whom placed an order before closing I’d say say about 6:45, They received their orders they must have had a thought bc the young boy went back up to the counter right b4 she put up the closed sign in the window the young boy asked “can I order one more thing?” she said ((“NOPE!”)) and SLAMMED in the closed sign! It was loud. He turned to the other boy and said I forgot mom’s milkshake and I can’t order anymore! I felt bad for the kid because he had to explain to mom why she wasn’t getting a milkshake but they sure got what they wanted lol I’m sure mom understood. Because she slam that wooden sign so hard in the window, we didn’t wanna ask for it to go bag so we went to our car and found a bag and put our food in it too embarrassed to mention what kind of bag we found lol literally a doggy bag No one should have to feel this way while patronizing a business due to one extremely rude employee!! I do not believe this is the first time she has had this attitude nor do I believe it will be the last. I’m sure that others have picked up on her attitude.. I understand and respect closing times especially if they are posted for all to see. But I didn’t see any times or I may have overlooked them if in small print somewhere. BUT HER ATTITUDE was uncalled for she really was extremely UNKIND TO ALL! and I’d never turn away business by being RUDE TO PAYING CUSTOMERS. I’d politely say I’m so sorry but we close at 7pm. and give the hours of operation and tell them I look forward to seeing them the next time. 😊 NOT RUDLEY SAYING “IM TRYING TO GET...

Pre-pandemic, frostys was the most reliable place to get a good burger, fries and a shake. Frostys has recently revamped its menu offering "gourmet" burgers and fries, double the price as before, and longer wait. I went on a semi-busy day, the wait was thankfully only 15 minutes, but that didn't really matter to me after I saw my order. I ordered 2 burgers, one small chocolate shake, one small soda, and one order of fries which came out to around $45. The small soda was smaller than a child size at a fast food restaurant, the small milkshake was a bit bigger but the chocolate was not mixed in well. I realized my burger was raw the first bite I took, it seemed obvious to me that these were frozen patties that they were heating up and even though the outside of my burger was brown, cutting in half showed red, raw, uncooked beef. I couldn't bring myself to drive all the way back to frostys to ask for my money back and I tried calling but no answer. The food here doesn't...
