Don’t go here they might say they have free meals for kids then want to go charge u gratuity for your kids when there was just four adults at our table the waiter made a 10 dollar tip off my sisters receipt when she only ordered one 12 dollar burger then charge us a custom fee of 9 dollars off our ticket when we had already gave him another 11 dollar tip. This restaurant is just screwing people over by promoting free meals for kids then still screw u over on the tips by charging gratuity for kids.. then the waiter doesn’t even speak and has bad customer service and also forgot some of our orders and we had to remind him for the meals we had a total of 65 dollars spent and they kept saying they went off of us spending 115 dollars due to them still counting our kids with the gratuity be aware of your receipts before leaving. They had never charged for the kids gratuity we would go a lot and never had this problem. But I asked the supervisor and he said to bad that they charge for all kids there. The waiter ended up with a 30 dollar tip.insane!! Myself or any of my family will never be going back to this restaurant. When u try to support a family business they screw u over in the end...
Read moreHad heard good stuff about Haley's and I was "in the area" so I figured I'd check it out. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. The chicken was very large, juicy, and hung out on both ends of the bread! The flavor was almost like a lemon pepper seasoning but not quite. The onion rings were a little too crispy (tough) for my taste so next time I will just get the fries. As for my mother's Fish and Shrimp plate, it was Great! Both the shrimp AND the fish were freshly cooked. And as you can see, the portion size is Awesome again! The breading on the fish got a little soggy but I think that's just because the fillets were piled on top of each other (won't let it happen again). Their tartar sauce is made in house and it was very, very tasty. I'm not going to lie, next time, I will be getting the Fish and Shrimp plate!! Haley's is a bit out of my way but it will Definitely be one of my options if I'm "in the area" or if I'm craving a Great...
Read moreWe went in fairly late in the evening and were greeted by the friendliest server. (I think her name was Amanda) She was very helpful with the menu for our first time in, even though it is not particularly extensive. They were out of the chicken fried steak which is one of the things that was recommended to us so we chose burgers. We ordered the King James one-pound burger and a regular hamburger, both with fries. They came out on large metal trays, which we love - more room for dipping the fries in ketchup or their 'syanide' sauce. The sauce is HOT so beware! These burgers are good-sized and tasty. The meat is seasoned and cooked well, ingredients and the buns are fresh. The fries are hand cut and fried. The burgers are so good, we may have trouble trying something else on the menu...
