Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Dorado

I was skeptical about going to this chili's or any for that matter, i guess they have changed vendors and might be cutting cost and my past experience have not been successful, but yesterday they have partially redeemed themselves, our server (Angel) was so-so, i guess he was busy but has room for improvement, he was kind but at times forgot he had other tables but like i said he can fix this, our food was good, granted the menúes picture and the actual food leave a lot to be desired, but the flavor was good. My drink was Amazing!!! A bacardi sour apple 🍏 margarita... Yumm!! I do miss the old recipe for the potato soup 😢 that one was great, this new one not so good very bland.. They have revamped the menu so i hope they keep it up and it was about time!! All in all it was a good time, plus it was packed so i can't punish them for this.. Just hire more people for...

I went at 6pm on a Thursday, and the crowds had not arrived yet, the bar had two couples and the dining room had four "covers" (occupied tables). I sat at the bar and ordered the boneless chicken wings ("the ones with the sauce"). They were great. Fried to perfection, with a nice cheese sauce on top and a spicy green sauce on the side, goldilocks spicy (not too hot, not too flat). $14 plus tax. Food was great, service was great. Atmosphere was great. The only reason atmosphere did not rate higher is that I REALLY don't like the zillion tvs playing silent sports shows. A sports bar is so '90's! Chili's has a good product. It would do better if the decor were updated and the sports theme...

We had a horrible experience at the Chili’s Restaurant in Dorado, PR. On 7 Aug 2024, we received less than mediocre service from our waitress, but decided to tip her 15% anyways (even though we had to ask for service twice). I never complain unless is a serious matter or to help future patrons). The bill was $106 and the credit card paying system was acting up, so the waitress tried to “help” and purposely changed her tip to 20%!!! I don’t make a huge paycheck so an extra $7 in tips is significant. I called the Chili’s mgr and reported the incident, and even though I couldn’t get my money back, I hope the mgr takes this matter seriously so other guests don’t experience this...
