Firehouse Subs — Restaurant in Dorado

The sandwich was tasty, but customer service is lacking. Entered the location which had one customer waiting. I stood at the counter and observed two females and one male associates/employees. I waited approximately 8 min while the two females prepared sandwiches and the male wearing a headset was looking at his phone and texting. Took one of the females to finally acknowledge me and said we will be right with you, which took at least another 5 minutes to come by and take an order. While my order was being taken the male was showing the other female whatever conversation he was having, least to say he was upset about whatever conversation he was having, maybe another bad review. Sandwich came with few French fries and the few French fries cold, old looking and soggy. I won’t revisit this particular Firehouse. The sandwich, Engineer, was just ok.

Revisiting 2 years after last visit. I learned today you must take a large fries when you order a large sub in a combo. Small sub combo comes with medium fries. That is pretty dumb not to have an option. $19 for a combo !!!. And they eliminated the soda fountain where you filled your own soda from a great choice. Now it’s just a cup of soda full of ice handed out when you pay. BTW the fries were overloaded with salt. The employees were friendly and helpful. This place is going backwards. Will come back in another two years to see if improvements...
