La Villa De Lester — Restaurant in Dorado

Had a really bad experience here with the owners sister ...... Anyways the appetizer empanadas we're good and the waitress was good also my son barely have gotten out of the hospital and we needed to give him therapy and we were hungry so we decided to go to this restaurant because it was right there by the area we were at and after we were done the baby had a little bit of wet clothes from the milk that he was drinking so we have to change his clothes we went to the bathroom they didn't have any changing tables for the baby so we asked them and they said they didn't have it to use a chair so we use a table that it was hidden from the public and we changed the babies clothes there we also put a blanket to change it so the baby wasn't touching the table the owner sister came and started complaining and talking to my wife and she wasn't even polite about it she said it from afar and my wife and we where so disrespected we paid for what we had we tipped the waitress and we left I don't know about you but if I go to a restaurant and the people on top of the restaurant treat me like that their customers then I would suggest not to go there and waste your time here .... The waitress was polite but the owners sister should not work there ... (By law in Puerto Rico restaurant they should have atleast one changing...

This place food was highly regarded by a local that suggested me to visit. The location is great, the food excellent, seafood fresh, in fact I had the best octopus salad and conch salad we've ever eaten, but I had to wait so much for it that almost left. The service turned my good experience with the food; to mediocre one.

The first server said she would clean the table and be back soon, and never came. We cleaned the table ourselves. The second did her best, but had too much tables to attent to.

Its not the servers fault, but its management. Service needs improvement ASAP in this place. Wait times, organization, attitude, supervision; all need to be revamped. This is why even though this happened we left a hefty tip to our waiter.

Its definitely a good place to have a few drinks and apetizers. But it lacks the bare minimum service standards a restaurant should have.

Think of this as a Well intended recommendation, rather than a bad review. We intend to come back as the food is superb, hopefully to find better service.

We are foreigners, we visit PR every year for escapade of the bitter cold days. I have to defend this place from some reviews, this is a big restaurant in front of the beach, they serve FRESH seafood all the fishing made in Dorado on the daily basis is sold to this restaurant, 10 waiters are working while the chefs are cooking, since the food is "Made to Order" the waiting time expected is at least 40 to one hour. If you wait all day long with an empty stomach; I recommend you Don't come here bc the waiting time will rapidly escalate from 45 min to 1 hour and a half! Fresh , delicious, tasty and made to order this is just one of the too many choices you had. Expensive seafood but worthy for Latin cuisine. Remember nothing fancy, it's just PRican seafood!! We wait one day for dinner 1hour!! Enjoy the locals and wait if...
