Ordered via Door Dash...
I give ONE STAR because what I ordered is considered basic and was not complicated outside of their regularly ordered items.
I ordered Meatballs (order is supposed to come with two meatballs)... Door Dash app forced me to add an EXTRA Meatball for a $2.19 charge. It would not let me order without adding the meatball, it said "REQUIRED". So, instead of the $4.29 for two meatball order, it cost me $6.48 for three meatballs, even though I only wanted two. I called the store after I received my food and asked because I was curious. The polite girl told me "because there's an order minimum?", but, she was kinda of just suggesting that to see if I'd bite, but, she then said she didn't know why. I told her when I placed the order on Door Dash, I deleted the meatball, added the pizza and then added back the meatball and it still made me order an extra one, so, it's not a minimum order issue. She said she will email someone, I think Door Dash or Rise Pies, I don't know. The problem with using apps like this is the restaurant blames Door Dash and Door Dash blames the restaurant. But, the bottom line is, the customer pays in the end.
The meatballs arrived and they were small, almost like the frozen ones you can buy at Publix, just slightly larger. And, the sauce they were in was very soupy. I've had them before and the meatballs were bigger and the sauce was not runny. As for the pizza, I know it's a small pizza and it's traveling 15 minutes to get to me, so, it's not going to be hot. It arrived cold and I understood that when I ordered it, so, I'm not giving one star for that because that's all on me and I have a microwave in my hotel room. However, the pizza issue I had was that I ordered it with the FRESH mozzarella, but, they used shredded mozzarella. That's a big difference in taste and I was really disappointed.
So, to sum up... had to pay for an extra meatball I didn't want... meatballs were tiny and in a sauce soup... and the pizza was made wrong.
I will order form here again to give it another shot and add UPDATE to...
Read moreI have a 11 year old daughter with an emotional support pet. My family chose this place to eat after hapilly shopping at the mall. The restaurant had a sign that said no dogs were allowed unless they were trained service animals. My daughter had sat down with Louis (5 pound dog) and within a few minutes, one of the employees came over and told us we couldn't be in there with dog. We tried to explain to the employee that Louis was a service dog however, she did not speak English. We asked to speak to a manager and a very rude individual by the name of Gustavo came out and basically rudely demanded the registration for Louis. A very rude and condescending individual and It is appalling that he works in a capacity the deals with the public. I explained To him that Florida law states that when it comes to service animals, establishments cannot ask or demand for this documentation. This is the law. By this point my daughter was visibly upset and our entire evening had been ruined. I asked Gustavo to apologize for himself and on behalf of his employee and he refused. It is so sad to think that here is a child that requires an emotional support dog and was essentially terrorized when she was trying to just have her dinner. It is Sunday And I most assuredly will be speaking to an attorney on...
Read moreTonight my family and I visited this awful restaurant. Our daughter and her emotional support dog were sitting at the table while her father and I ordered her dinner. Shortly after an employee approached our daughter telling her in Spanish she had to leave because of her dog. Her brother stated to the rude employee that his sisters dog is her emotional support pet. She didn’t understand our children. She immediately came towards me and her father. We tried to explain but their was huge communication barrier. The employee stated that the manager had asked her for us to show proper documentation or to leave. We stated we have no problem showing but the law doesn’t require for us to provide it. The manager stormed out of his office in a very aggressive manner and screaming at us in Spanish of course. Our daughter which is required and hs the right to have her pet is now nervous and stressed. The manager was extremely insensitive and not knowledgeable of the laws of emotional support pets. My family and I deceived to eat outside for the sake of our daughters mental well-being. I don’t recommend this place nor the food. Worst service ever and disgusting watery...
