I placed my order via DoorDash on 9/14 at La Carretera Restaurant in the Miami International Mall in Doral, FL, my order was not ready at the time indicated. Apparently it was given to the incorrect customer.
The managers did not take adequate charge of the error committed. The male manager sent an employee to tell me that my order will be prepared again, instead of him approaching me the customer face to face. The female manager gave me 3 DoorDash orders without adequately checking the customer’s name on the order. The female manager dismissed me and shut me out and said she did not want to discuss anymore the error committed, that it was not necessary to discuss it further.
I am very upset about the lack of customer service and lack of attention, and how dismissive the management was regarding this situation, and made a young employee named Denoisa speak to me instead of manager handling the problem. Her manager making me feel that it was ridiculous how I felt and that I was not important. I had to wait even longer for them to do my order again and I was given two flans for dessert as an act of consolation. If I make an error in my job I get reprimanded, and if it becomes a life threatening situation, I could lose my license and my job. I cannot get away with such error. I don’t expect any less from anyone else. Customer service is important, making your customer feel acknowledged whether dining in or ordering delivery only enhances the experience and creates a favorable dining experience. How a restaurant makes a customer feel goes a lot further than how delicious the food actually is. People eat at restaurants not only for the great tasting dishes , but also for the wonderful dining experience. I would not eat or order food from La Carretera Restaurant at Doral,...
Read moreI have been coming to this place for more than 12 years, the first time I do it in the morning, I ask for a tuna sandwich and I tell the waiter that he has very little tuna that if he can sell me 2 portions (SELL not for free) and he brings me the manager with a tremendous bad attitude and the waiter the same, I don't need anyone to give me anything I was going to pay for it and I told him and they made a tremendous scandal 🙄
All the people in the afternoon know me and I have never had a problem and I have always been generous with tips, 10-20 to 30 or more I have left
It seems that those in the morning are stressed or something because it had never happened to me 🙄
I had never given a complain in this place because it has always been good, what surprised me was the tremendous bad attitude of the manager, the most incredible thing was that I did not even give a complain, I just asked him if he could sell me 2 portions of tuna and he knew they stirred up 🙁
They did the show with a policeman who was there, he passed by looking as if they thought he was going to scare me, I am not afraid of the police or anyone because I have not committed any crime, the only crime was saying that they would sell me 2...
Read moreTook family for dinner on 6 yr old daughter's birthday. She requested to eat a mamey batido with pan con bistec. So we went to La Carreta due to its proximity. Waittress and server were friendly but gave the impression that they were working under pressure. Pan con bistec was served with stiff old bread that should not be served. Daughter soaked it in ketchup but it made it worse. Palomilla steak was small(half what you would expect for $12), tostones were overfried and appeared to have been sitting around all day, rice was not fresh, and palomilla served without onions. I had to request onions and they were in state of shock. Tostones were later replaced with maduros, which were ok. Hamburguers for kids were with fries were ok for them. At end they sang my daughter happy birthday with a portion of cake dessert. It was not free. Staff seemed polite but really made no effort to accomodate my issues with some of the food. Manager (if there was one on duty) was totally missing in action. Meal quality definitely not worth the $50 bill plus $10 tip for 1 palomilla, 1 pan con bistec, 2 kids hamburguers, 2 batidos, 2 sodas, and the birthday dessert which we had to pay. There are better choices out...
