Honestly, been buying from Dothan for a little over a year and used to love their cookies but this location is really poor. The quality is way beneath what I feel like other stores offer and the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. I feel like this specific store try’s to cut corners and save money and the quality has just gone way down. Makes me sad because I actually love crumbls cookies.
For example 1: the carrot cake had huge chunks of carrot in it. Like they had bought a bag of shredded carrots and so the carrots were too thick and undercooked in the cake. Example 2: my last few cookies have been under iced/frosted. Either the bakers don’t care, they haven’t been trained properly or they are told to cut corners. Usually the frosting/icing goes almost to the edge and I’ve had multiple cookies where it maybe is half iced with spaces and just poor poor quality. example 3: the strawberry shortcake was supposed to be double layered and they only had one layer of cake and had only a small portion of the strawberry jam on top. When I’m charged extra for a cake, I hope that it looks like the picture and matches the description. See photos below. Honestly the strawberry shortcake is kind of my last straw.
I’ll still buy Crumbl cookies but I won’t be buying them at Dothan location any longer. Dothan, I hope you see this and improve...
Read moreGents, let me save you $44, and 25 minutes of your time... these are bland, overpriced, and underwhelming. We ordered a dozen cookies, and they honestly looked great in photos and even in person, but they just don't have any punch behind them. We bought 4 of the iced confetti cookies and they forgot to add icing to one of them, who does that? Luckily we caught that in the store and had them correct it. If I'm ever craving a $4 cookie(which I promise I won't) I would walk next door to publix and buy the ingredients myself(or maybe just purchase 4 cookies from the bakery). This place is riding on their name and not much else. I'll still give em 2 stars for the friendly atmosphere, and hard work going on in the back. I don't blame anyone at this location for overpriced and under performing cookies. $20 for a 12 pack would have been slightly overpriced but worth the "experience" of going out for a family treat. With all that said, I'm still going to eat them, cuz 40 bucks is 40 bucks.

Read moreHasn’t disappointed yet!….. Is an old post from almost a year ago…. This year it’s like the staff has just stopped giving a dang. For a $6 cookie and you want a tip but 3out of 4 times a month the cookies are sloppy now not prepared correctly in the photo below the icing was put on while the cake was hot and the icing melted off. This is the 1st time or 2. It has been a half ace theme there for months. I assume that they think well these middle class cookies keep getting bought so why should we care. There is 2 good employees the rest are employed. Unsure why they do a survey after you pick up your order that they no longer open the box for they just blah it on their counter and say have a good day. I use to tip but at this point you make dang bear what I do but at my job I have to do it to keep it. I guess they’re desperate for help but keep getting whatever it is they are getting to work there…. So I would skip on crumble in Dothan and go to one where the people that work there actually do what there survey ask...
