This came highly recommended by a personal friend of the owner and I have to agree. The food costs about what a nice lunch costs at a restaurant (as opposed to a fast food place which might be cheeper) but boy do you get what you paid for. Just to mix it up I got tofu (since it was on the menu) for a change and I got the taco bowl. Attached is a picture of my taco bowl (well the container anyway). I wish I had the forethought to take a picture of it before hand, but trust me readers it was quite full. The ordering method is similar to the a-la carte addons at sandwich places. You go in and pick the kind of food you want (just from memory there is taco, salad bowl, taco bowl, and quesadilla) and the meat (chicken, beef, spicy beef, and tofu are the ones I remember but there were others). You then get rice and a choice of black beans or pinto beans. After that it's over to your choice of two kinds of lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, and a plethora of other toppings. I got black beans, iceberg lettuce, light cheese, pickled jalapenos, mushrooms, and guacamole. Trust me when I say it was almost too much for me to finish. All meals come with chips and a salsa bar which I enjoyed immensely, although drinks were separate. I was not told that the guacamole was extra but I guess I should have guessed that. It's sort of a trend at mexican restaurants that guacamole is a surcharge. Though to their credit this guacamole looked like it was made in house rather than store bought. Paid 10.54 all told, and it was definitely worth having again if I'm ever in town. Strong recommendation. 9/10. Would be a perfect 10 if I didnt have to drive an hour to get to it.

Before this visit I was not a regular customer but the place has great food, salads are the best. However a lot of places have great or good food, but not every place goes above and beyond with their service; which they did for me. I stopped, not keeping track of time, about 10 min after they closed. Instead of telling me they were closed they invited me in, made me my salad in their already cleaned service area and were friendly and cheerful the whole time. So to the Barberitoes staff and manager, well done and I personally appreciate your kindness, you earned a regular customer tonight. Thanks!

Just ate there and it's the best BIG burrito restaurant among all the competition. I never order queso for myself. The people I'm with typically do so I don't get excited for queso personally. Their queso might be the best I've ever had. I ordered the spicy chicken burrito on wheat, cheese, extra (one large scoop) of pico, a squeeze of lime, and Chipotle ranch dressing. They have a salsa bar. Everything tasted so fresh. I absolutely loved eating there. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean

Food was edible, service was terrible. Staff seemed completely miserable. They missed part of the customer in front of me’s order, so she politely informed them she was missing a quesadilla. The lady putting toppings on ignored the customer, and told the guy at the front to make another. She then just stared blankly at the customer… Fast forward to my order, the boy at the front of the line phlegmatically and begrudgingly asks “For you?”, with a verbal eye roll added on… all the while, i’ve been waiting silent and patiently. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere where the staff actually appreciates their customers, as the food is nothing special here. These employees need a definite attitude adjustment, or if they’re that miserable working here, possibly seek employment elsewhere that doesn’t require engaging with customers, or following simple requests.. 2/10 would NOT recommend. It’s a shame because this place could be a lot better if the employees had an ounce of care...

Wayyyy too expensive! Also, no orange cheese! I wanted nachos and saw only mozzarella so asked "no yellow cheese?" and the lady said the cheese is further dwn (in the squirter basically). I was nervous cuz I thot ugg cheap orange nacho sauce. Well, it was worse. Cheap WHITE sauce! So gross. I so considered return 4 refund but I was hungry and it was a lucky day 4 them. I almost got tacos n wld hav been more disappointed due to the price. Oh well, we wanted to try it. My husbands chkn quesadilla was not good either. IMO. So, that's MO n I'm sticking to it. Won't go back again. Yuk. Gave a 2 star cuz qty of nachos was decent. Husb said quesadilla not worth $. Ps: shld hav orange cheese on hand and ask what cust prefers. Cld help your bus. Pas: based on some reviews I will say to me the place seemed clean. Maybe they've improved. But also the emps were not...
