
So I took myself and my children out to dine in I heard great things about the restaurant and they were doing a Halloween party so I thought my kids would enjoy it the restaurant was very nice but the service was absolutely terrible our waitress seemed like she didn't want to serve us it was crazy at the time we were the only customers in the restaurant and about 30 minutes later more people came in I had a party of six four children and two adults two of my children's food came out and nobody else got their food about 20 minutes later the manager came up and said there was a mistake with the ticket and only half the food got put in so we patiently waited about another 20 minutes everyone else's food came out and they forgot my other children's food so my daughter waited another 15 minutes terrible for me because she's 4 years old and very hungry by now once everybody finally got their food it was extremely cold there was no way this food was just cooked it had to of been sitting for an extended period of time it was extremely cold to the point that it truly just wasn't edible for me I politely just asked the waitress to give us some to go trays and I would just heat it up at home the waitress did not even give us to go trays did not check on us the manager was very nice she actually came over to the table checked on us and apologized twice said that she could remake the food but I told her at this point it's been over an hour my half my kids already ate the other half or just tired and hungry and just could not wait another hour waiting on food unfortunately at this point we're just hungry and frustrated we waited an extremely long time while we watched other customers who came in a long time after us get their food have good service not sure what the issue was but I was extremely disappointed they definitely need to work on their customer service and maybe filter their staff a little bit better I was extremely disappointed we all left hungry and I left frustrated we saw that they were doing a nice Halloween celebration and thought we would have an amazing time but that definitely was not the case we just paid and left six hungry people with very old food that we waited over an hour for I understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasn't I understand mistakes happen but for the waitress not even to have the respect to check on us was ridiculous and very upsetting she didn't even let us know that we weren't getting our food it took the manager every time to come tell us anything in the future I hope they work on their customer service and giving out quality food and I think the place...
Read moreI have been going to Rock N Roll Sushi for years. I am originally from Pensacola and was introduced there years ago. I have lived in Dothan for 2 years now and have been to the dothan location many times. The food and service is normally great. I went with my partner yesterday for luch. We both had NA beverages and miso soups to start. I ordered a rainbow roll and veggie roll. No krab in my rainbow cause i have a gluten allergy. My partner ordered the filet hibachi with no onions and the servers responded saying that there were no onions. When the food came out my rolls were perfect as always. His food was cooked well but it was loaded with onions. The servers name was Loreal. When i mentioned it to her, her response was " oh i meant there werent onions in the vegetables " . She walked away and rolled her eyes. She said nothing to correct the situation. I have 30 years experience in food and beverage. I am trained as a chef at New England Culinary institute and spent years bartending, managing, serving in different food venues throughout the country. The fact that she threw attitude and walked away as if it didnt matter was astounding to me. It was her mistake and yet she gave me attitude about the the dish and when my partner asked for no onions she argued about it. The normal response would be to take responsibility for ordering incorrectly or letting the customer know its not possible to make it that way. As my partner picked through his lunch, he gave up and stopped eating it. I approached Loreal D one last time about the dish and she argued that onions arent in the vegtables but only in the rice and she rolled her eyes at me again with a horrible attitude. I thought i was being Punk'd or there was a hidden camera somewhere. I told her I was ready to pay and she had no issue taking money for a $60 lunch. I never not tip a server and i tipped Loreal because im industry and thats what we do but her attitude towards something that is so simple to fix is mind boggling. Eyes rolling at smiling customers is disgusting and un called for anywhere. I will hopefully return back to the Rock and Roll sushi in Dothan but i will be sure to Avoid it with Loreal...
Read moreOne of the most horrible experiences I've ever had in a restaurant, all because of one of the managers. She saw our table of 8 and decided she wanted to get tips so she took us from one of the actual servers. She was so incredibly rude the whole time, she rudely screamed at someone in our party, who has a hearing disability, to the point where another guest got up and told her to stop. She vanished and was nowhere to be seen so we had to get another waitress to refill our drinks, and then she came back and started screaming at the waitress for "trying to steal the table." She vanished again and by the time she brought our food it was so cold that most of us had to send it back. She also got sauces wrong and lied to us about it. She then tried to force us all to pay on separate tickets for some reason. She got the forced gratuity for being a party of 8 and then she demanded we tip her more even though we didn't want to tip her at all because of how rude and absent she was to both us and the other staff. We ended up spending 2 hours in there because she was nowhere to be seen with the food, nor the check. We doubted she was a manager so we asked another employee and they confirmed that she unfortunately was and that she had been stealing half her tables that day for the extra money. Would rate 0 stars if I could, she made it one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had, definitely never coming back here again and I would highly advise anyone else to either, especially if you have a disability...
