Five Guys — Restaurant in Dothan

When I got to Five Guys there was already a little line at the cashier station and I thought it would take about a half an hour for me to get my food.

In the time it took me to take all of the pictures and talk to some of the staff my order was ready ... that was a little under 12 minutes.

My order was two burgers all the way one without mayo and a large fry that I would split with my wife later.

When I got home and I opened up my burger it was tremendous. I was very lucky to be able to eat all of it with my fries. As requested it came with all the fixings minus mayo and it tasted awesome. My wife loved her burger and fries too.

In the pictures of the inside of the restaurant you will see it is very clean. One of the employees apologized to me because she was sweeping up peanut kernels etc. right near my seat as I was waiting for my order.

On the whole the staff was friendly, professional and courteous. Everybody did their part and worked together as a team. The management should be proud about the people they picked to lead.

Five Guys is awesome. The food is always great. Our complaint is about this particular location. We came in on a Sunday about a quarter to 3:00. We are from out of town and this isn't our typical Five Guys. This was a FAR cry from the genuine and welcoming atmosphere that always draws us back to this chain. The cashier couldn't be bothered with a smile while we gave our order and acted like everything we said was an imposition to him. Our order was straight forward-there was nothing special to it. I don't expect employees to be happy the whole time. I worked in food service for 7 years-trust me, I know that most days aren't fun. But if you can't even bother to be nice to people, maybe you should find a job you enjoy more. The other employees were nice enough, but overall none of them seemed like they wanted to be there.
