I would just like to say the food was amazing but the service I received my recent visit was COMPLETELY unacceptable and quite disturbing. Me and my wife went out to eat, and our waitress was very short and snippy with my wife. Every time My wife would ask for a refill or for something small like extra sauce or silverware she would roll her yes Continuously. And wouldn’t even say you’re welcome when we do it tell her thank you. Despite all that, I still decided to give her a chance, but the final straw was when my wife stepped away to use the restroom, and this waitress came up to me and tried to promote her “website” to me called only fans ??? I wasn’t aware what she was trying to promote at first until she explain to me what type of website she was promoting… I felt like She was trying to seduce me for a larger tip, and I felt very uncomfortable in that moment And I feel like that’s very unprofessional and close to being illegal. I will never eat here again because my waitress Haley Made me feel assaulted with the words in the promotions she was giving to me and the way she treated my wife was completely not OK. This company needs to reconsider the type of people they are hiring. This is not Hooters. This is huddle house. It’s really sad what The young generation is resorting to for money. I’ll pray...
Read moreI have loved Huddle House for years. Their omelets are always whipped, light, fluffy and memorable. The last time I was a Huddle house was in 2016 while visiting my wife's family. Now, after the pandemic, our visit was on a sad occasion-a funeral. Prior to today, I had only visited 1 in Douglas, GA (not this one) and 1 in Fitzgerald, GA. This time last night we went to the one in Fitzgerald, GA only to find that it was closed. We attempted to visit the Huddle House in Douglas, GA, but there was a terrible back up on the road from Ocilla to Douglas and we turned around back up to Ocilla and returned the "back way". It was late that evening, and we went somewhere else. But on the way to our hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, we found this Huddle House a few steps away. We went there the next morning, today and the Western omelet broght back memories for both food and service. The wonderful friendly service I received that morning was from Michelle, who providec great service. I returned that evening for another memorable omelet served by Sam, the shift manager she also deserves a shout out for covering 2 servers that were no shows. I wish I could give Huddle...
Read moreMy husband and I were staying behind HH at the Super 8, so we walked over at 10:15 pm. After 12 hrs. traveling from Hurricane Irma, it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order for drinks. When we walked in there were 5 tables in use. All the others were not cleaned and very dirty. We waited for someone to supply menus, being the table was still full of ketchup, we couldn't set the menus on the table. The table wasn't cleaned, finally got our order taken, the cook had 4 orders ahead of ours, he took off his apron and left. By this time, it was 11:30 pm and still no meal. When got our meal, the salad had no dressing with it, we had no silverware to eat with. The mashed potatoes and beef had no gravy on it. They put some in the microwave and brought out in a pitcher and poured it on our plates at our table. When we had to ask for our check it was midnight and they charged us $35 for 2 meals. When we questioned it, they looked and had charged us for 4 meals. You can't make this stuff up folks. I was reluctant to give them any stars. We will take our business to Waffle...
