On Friday December 6, 2024 while shopping at the Douglas Hobby Lobby with my Girlfriend. She rang the bell at the Fabric department. About 5 minutes later she rang it again. Then again twice more in about 5 minutes. An announce was made over the store intercome stating customer needs assistance in Fabric. A lady came up the isle from the back of the store pushing a store cart. When she saw us she turned left down an isle. Later she emerged from the back side of the Fabric wall stood there looked at us and proceeded down an isle toward the front of the store. It was apparent she didn't want to help us. I have been in this store many times and have always received help at the Fabric center when needed. It was very obvious she was doing every thing she could to avoid us. I had 2 Items to check out up front, I started to put them back, but I went to the register and reported to the clerk of our experience. She said I can close my register and help you. My girlfriend said no not now it's to late. I said we will take our business elsewhere. I hope other customers are treated better than we were. I simply asked her if they sold the matchsticks by the pounds.with no STRIKERS.Um,10sec. Pause. I don't know sir. 5sec. Pause, well OK I said. Thank you for your time. Oh okay sir you call back if you might need anything else. She hung up faster than she answered it. Read moreWould have given it more stars but the check out process was terrible. There was only one cash register open and the line had 10 people waiting. We did our shopping and went to check out but the line still stretched back to the displays. The manager was called a few times to do returns and instead of staying and helping he would run back to whatever he was doing even after seeing how long the lines were.
