Tip Top Deli — Restaurant in Douglas

Wanting extra soup , some for lunch and some left as a second meal for supper , i ordered a Quart of Lobster Bisque, saddly i was informed they no longer sold Lobster Bisque by the quart although its on the menu , so i could either choose a cup or bowl . So i made the decision to buy 2 bowls . I was brought out a fountain drink cup ( not what soup is usually served in ) the fountain drink cup was some what filled but not sure as to why they were putting 2 bowls of soup in one fountain drink cup and it wasn't filled completely so i asked was i getting 2 bowls in this fountain drink cup or just a cup??? So i was like do i get 2 of these cause this is clearly not 2 bowls worth of soup.. ..so she goes back and then im given , the same fountain cup but this time filled completely. This is the issue , the fountain drink cup was 32 ounces therefore it was a quart ... these young kids and even the cook couldn't or didnt know that they were giving me what i originally ordered in a 32 ounce fountain cup and i paid less for it . Worried about the future 😕 Soup was great , and i certainly am not upset but ....things like this make me worry for...

Me and my team frequent this establishment and love the home town feel on the interior of the restaurant as well as the awesome customer service. Austen has served us multiple times and always has a smile on his face and welcomes us. The employees are always helpful and smiling as well. This is a little bit on the pricey side. If your looking for a good sit down quick meal. They have lots of different sandwiches and soups. On 3/19/21 I ordered a cup of potato soup, soup to me wasn't that great, it was watery, tried to thicken it with crackers but it didnt work for me, it was a little bland.
