This place has really good brisket. It is juicy, tender and good flavor. I had the biscuit brisket with cheese sauce and did not care for the biscuit too much. It was cold (may have been better warm or grilled) and was a tad dry. The street corn salad was really good. It was well seasoned and had a nice little "bite" to it. The Mac-n-cheese was not how I like it. The cheese was pasty and I prefer mine to be more creamy. Also, the flavor was mediocre. The staff was friendly, and it was a very laid back atmosphere. Noticed it on our way to Butterfields for ice cream, took a chance the next day for dinner and wow we were not disappointed! This place already has a cult following with the locals in Dover-Foxcroft and should be on everyone’s radar that goes to Peaks-Kenny either at the end of the day or as a break in mid week camp meal prep.
