Buffalo Wild Wings in Dover, Delaware, offers an outstanding sports bar experience, deserving of a full five-star rating. My visits to this location have consistently been exceptional, marked by great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service.
The star attraction here, undoubtedly, are the wings. With a wide variety of sauces and seasonings, ranging from pleasantly mild to daringly spicy, there’s a flavor profile for every palate. The wings themselves are cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making every bite a delightful experience.
Beyond the wings, the menu offers a good variety of other options, including burgers, salads, and shareable appetizers, all of which are delicious and well-prepared. The quality of the food, coupled with the generous portion sizes, ensures a satisfying meal every time.
The atmosphere at this Buffalo Wild Wings is exactly what you’d want from a sports bar. With multiple screens broadcasting various sports events, the place is always buzzing with energy, making it a great spot to catch a game with friends or family. The layout of the restaurant is thoughtfully designed, ensuring that you have a good view of the screens from almost any seat.
What truly sets this location apart is the service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to respond, ensuring that your experience is pleasant from start to finish. They have a knack for making guests feel welcome and taken care of, adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit.
In conclusion, Buffalo Wild Wings in Dover is a top-notch choice for anyone looking for a great sports bar experience. With its fantastic wings, diverse menu, lively atmosphere, and excellent service, it’s a spot I highly recommend and will definitely...
Read moreUPDATED REVIEW (one star to five stars) 12/29: I visited again (reluctantly) since wingstop opened later than I thought due to the labor shortage. Surprisingly, I walked right in and there were TWO people at the counter gasp! As soon as I walked up someone greeted me and asked if I was there to pickup. I gave her my name, signed the receipt, she handed me my food, and I was back to work in no time. Food was hot and delicious just like it used to be. Not sure if this is a fluke but it was a great experience this time!!
I always order take out from this location as I work right around the corner. The first two times I came here was smooth. I was in and out. However, as of late, the service, wait time, and quality of food have suffered tremendously. After placing the online order I’m given a “pick up ready” estimate which is usually immediately after I place the order (about 3 minutes). This seems a bit too ambitious so I always wait an extra 5 or so minutes. I showed up 5 minutes past the pick up time and still had to wait 20 minutes (!!!) to receive my order. It’s literally never busy in there since I go during the week and at off-peak hours so it’s not making sense why the wait is so long and my order is never ready by the time i get there. Like I said, I work nearby so I do have somewhere to be and would rather not spend my lunch break standing around in BWW. Oh, how could I forget to mention — I also have to wait around at the register for someone to come up to the front and find my order. To add insult to injury, the food is bland. The wings are over cooked and the “lemon pepper” dry rub has no taste at all. I wish I chose somewhere else to go for lunch. I won’t be back to this...
Read moreWe have went to this Buffalo Wild Wings 3 times in about 6 months. Each time we have had an issue. The first time we went we waited over an hour for our food. When it came out everything was cold. We don't mind waiting however when you wait an hour the food should come out hot. The manager did take 25% off our bill. The second time we went my meal did not come out with everyone else's. When it finally came out they brought me the wrong one. The manager did take this off our bill. When we went last night the server was not attentive. She took our drink order, I ordered a drink from the bar. She came by and said I'm still waiting on the drink from the bar. I said ok. Another table had called to her by name and asked where there server was she said I don't know but I will take you. Several other servers and the manager spoke to this customer. They all were on first name basis (so I'm thinking this was an employee or ex employee). This customer and I ordered the same drink from the bar (she ordered after I did) and her drink came out first. Not sure how this happens. We had to actually stop the waitress to place the rest of our order so we could eat. I ordered chips and queso as an appetizer. Before the chips and queso came out the other table had there meals. I'm not sure if this customer received special treatment because everyone knew her or what the issue was. The server very seldom checked on us and we would have to stop her when she walked by when we needed something. Before the last 6 months we had went to this...
