WOW! I ordered take-out for the first time this evening and to say I am in love is an understatement! I have worked in the restaurant industry for a while, and not a lot of places get me super excited but this place knocked it out! I know everyone thinks “oh it’s just another pizza place” but boy was I shocked!
I commend the owners/workers for the attention to detail and I mean EVERY detail is so thought out and you can tell this is their passion! Not only was the girl at the counter who checked me out extremely friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great. The layout was very welcoming and cohesive, the food was outstanding- everything was delicious and even something as simple as giving a bigger container than most places for salad dressing (picky I know- but everyone hates when they order a salad and get 1/4 of the dressing needed lol), every slice of pizza was identical and garnishes on all. A lot of places don’t realize the little details matter- people notice and I think it makes people really want to return.
I got the Wanderer and will definitely be back!! It’s a little pricey for this area, but definitely definitely worth it and this area needed a spot like this! Something new, modern, and a great place to hangout! I came on a Thursday and it was busy and full of laughter. We are incredibly lucky to have an establishment like this...
Read moreWe got the Yoozh pizza and it was very good with a nice crust and a delicious sauce, but the portion size of the pizza for the price is a little steep in my opinion. I would expect to see these prices in Canton, not Dover/Phila. Any family would need to buy at least 2 of these $15+ pizzas to feed their family. I got the 90210 cocktail and it was okay, but definitely not worth the $11 price tag though. We didn't get the salads, but saw other people have them and they looked enormous. Our server was very attentive and made sure our water was always refilled and answered any questions we had about the menu. The space itself is beautifully decorated, I love the theme, but it is small for the amount of people coming through the doors. We went on a Saturday night and joined the waitlist online before arrival and I highly recommend that. Otherwise, you will most likely be given a wait time of 45 minutes to an hour at the door.
All in all, it will be a nice addition to downtown Dover, but to me, it is a little bit too upscale for this area. Good food if you have the...
Read moreI could smell DolaJean’s before I could see the storefront. The aroma of pizza filled the cold air and made my taste buds begin to jump with joy. Ordered a Daddy-O and The Yoouzh. Went for a walk while I waited for my order. Fast forward to home. Opened the boxes…OH.MY. Delightfully delicious crust with a nice crisp edge all the way around. Mozzarella melted to perfection. Sauce, the sauce is exquisite. A little bit of a bit to awaken every taste buds in my mouth. Strips of fresh basil. FRESH!! And old world pepperoni (crispy, looks like a cup after baking) is the crown jewel upon these heavenly pies. The mushrooms and sausage, both large and in charge on the Daddy-O were excellent additions. Not crumbles. We’re talking ’shrooms that look like ‘shrooms and sausage chunks the size of wedding soup meatballs! Needless to say, we were quite pleased with our DolaJean pizza pies and will be...
