McDonald's — Restaurant in Dover

The person in the drive-through was nasty from the beginning. My husband has been collecting the McDonaldland postcards. I tried to order him one and asked to switch the milkshake for water. The person in drive-through was nasty and said na you can’t. I explained that’s I did want the milk shake and would still pay for it I just would weather have water. She was again would saying no. I pull up to receive my food and the gentleman handing me my food tells me the milkshake machine was down and they couldn’t make the milkshake. I told them that was fine water would be perfect. I also order my daughter a happy meal. When I went to hand her the apple slices I noticed they were already open with food in them. I asked for another bag. He said ya but you need to pull up because it’s going to be a while because of the apples. Ordered 1/4 pounder, 6 piece nuggets and fries with a rewards discount. I thought the price was still a little high. I paid and was asked to pull up. I sat there for FIVE minutes before being brought the food. Looking at the receipt, I was charged for 2 6 piece nuggets, I only ordered 1. When they brought the food they did bring both 6 pieces, so I accepted them. When I got home, and opened the food, the chicken nuggets were so old and dry they were inedible. The inside of the nuggets should NOT be crispy! The fries were just ok, just warm. The 1/4 pounder was why I was asked to pull up, but it was not freshly made. I called and talked to the manager - Ty. All she said was to come ALL THE WAY BACK and she would give me a refund. I didn't have time to do that. Wow! They took slow and rude to a whole new level! All I stopped for was a drink. I waited awhile to place my order, no cars directly in front of me. Manager was talking to the first window cashier about not fighting with others. Next: why is it that McDonald’s suddenly does not have Pennies? “We don’t have Pennie’s right now, is that ok?” Well if customers didn’t have enough to pay for their order, would they still receive the food? Waited another long, long while at the second window where a very slow moving young lady was. After a while she opens the window and says that they do not have soda, could she get me a sweet tea?
