Went to this restaurant and noticed that the open sign is on the side of the building and not on the front glass face in the street which is not a plus , Also the cashier and American blonde girl was sitting down at a table with some man so she gets up and goes to the cashier section does not greet me doesn't say hello doesn't say good evening doesn't say anything , And with a very Bored looking face. Anyways for about $19 I get 2 chicken sandwiches The 1st sandwich came with overcooked chicken the outside of the chicken was crunchy and the inside was dry and other words they stuck the chicken on the grill and put a weight on top to make a cook quicker now let me say one thing I was the only customer and the restaurant so there's no reason To speed up the order and by the way restaurant owner you should even have a weight on top of your food any ways to speed up the process of cooking something that's a kind of stuff you find in dive restaurants. The flat bread was Not heated up and also the sauce that was on the sandwich let's just put it this way there was too much of it and it made the sandwich taste Bland. The other sandwich was on French bread a little spit a chicken same thing over cooked didn't have any real taste it was made with Lettuce and tomatoes and the sandwich had Mayonaise For the sauce (how original) Very badd taste for the sandwiches in wears than the sandwiches was the girl's attitude I don't recommend...
Read moreFirst time trying Cedar Grill after hearing great things about the food - and we can confirm, the food is fantastic!
My husband and I arrived around 7:30 PM. We weren't greeted when we walked in, which was fine, but once we got to the counter, the energy from the staff felt off. The girl at the register came off a bit aggressive and seemed uninterested in helping us. Since it was our first visit, we had a few questions, but the interaction felt rushed and unfriendly.
After ordering, we were told dine-in was closed and only takeout was available - something that would've been helpful to know before placing the order. Especially confusing since there was a whole family dining inside at the time.
Our food was ready quickly -- within 5 minutes -- and we ate in the car. And wow, it lived up to the hype. Seriously, 9/10 on flavor, freshness, and portion size! While we were eating, we noticed the staff leaving around 7:45, even though the restaurant's listed hours say they close at 8 PM. That urgency to shut down early definitely explains the rushed and cold service.
Food: (9/10) Service: (1/10) Vibes: (3/10)
Great food -- but if you're going close to closing time, just expect it to be a grab-and-go experience with a not so pleasant service!
Ordered 2 chicken kabob...
Read moreMy coworker and I went to lunch to Cedar Grill because he often met his wife there after work and they liked the food there. So, I ordered the Chicken Shwarma wrap and a cup of lentil soup. The soup came with warm pita bread which was very fresh and tasty. The lentil soup was not like any lentil soup I had before. It tasted off. It was hearty, but I did not enjoy the flavor. It was yellow, so from what I read that is probably because of turmeric added to it. I guess I'm not a fan of turmeric. It wasn't horrible, but not a flavor that tasted good. The same for my chicken Shwarma. Hot, but a sort of tongue drying hearty blandness that turned me off. I finished the soup, but only finished half of the wrap. I took that half home in a to go container but just ended up throwing it in the garbage. This is my first time eating at a middle eastern style of food restaurant, so I will go back again and try something else next time. 5 stars for the freshness and the friendly service. The woman that took my order was very nice. And the place was very clean. I just could not enjoy all that turmeric embedded into...
