Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Downers Grove

I went to this location because the usual one I go to was closed. I will never come here again. It took me 40 minutes from the time I got in line to actually get my food and it was SEVERELY overpriced. For example, I ordered a small Hawaiian Blizzard with M&Ms. They had the base price for a small blizzard plus an extra charge for ordering a Hawaiian blizzard plus an extra charge for the M&Ms. I believe the extra charge for the blizzard type was 1.49 and the additional charge for the M&Ms was 1.29. I have been to many many other DQ locations all around the state and have never been charged over 7 dollars for a small blizzard. My family has been ordering this specific order for years and we usually just get charged something around 79 cents extra for the additional M&Ms. It really seems like the owners are just trying to milk this business for as much money as they can because they were clearly understaffed and are overcharging so much. My fiancé and I went here at 8pm on Friday the 8th (Today). The girl with braces at the front counter was extremely slow and rude. She had her friend come visit her at work and distract her from taking orders and making treats. While we were ordering, the worker was too distracted with looking at her friends new set of nails and giggling at each other. We tried to use a coupon, the one blizzard and get another blizzard for 99 cents, but the worker completely ignored that the coupon didn’t work on the order and continue to talk to her friend about other people/ her day. After about 5 minutes of standing around trying to get her attention, we got the worker that was taking our order to finally ask her manager about the coupon. All she had to do was scan the coupon before we used our card to pay for it. I went this evening to get one blizzard and after ordering they proceeded to make the multiple blizzard order after me. After reminding them of my oreo blizzard order and their apology i receive a medium cup of vanilla ice cream with practically nothing in it. I go up to them and i say im sorry but this is just ice cream there is no Oreos in this and the staff shrug and tell me its probably at the bottom and basically dismiss me. There were no oreos at the bottom. The customer service was horrible and i feel ripped off. I have a photo of the blizzard with no oreos in it. Very disappointing.
