If I could give 0 stars, I would. The host seated my family and I next to a party table of 15+ people knowing we had a newborn and stroller with us. I tried to deal with it until people kept hovering over our stroller. Why would you sit us in a busy area with a stroller. We decided to move to a corner where no one was. I couldn't imagine food or something dropping onto my baby in the stroller. My salad was brown and soggy. We were extremely hungry, so I tried to pick out the brown lettuce until I nearly choked on a soggy piece. I asked them for a FRESH salad in which they brought shortly after. If you has fresh salad in the back, why on earth would you bring me that old salad? My kid loves the bread but it had white fuzz all over them. We asked for bread until we received a decent loaf without fuzz! My husband's french onion soup cheese was burnt to a crisp. It's normally gooey and stretchy at our usual outback location. The steak wad horrendous! We ordered two slow roasted prime ribs. One 12oz medium well and one 16oz medium. Both came our seared! My medium well was ok. My husband's 16oz medium on the other hand, looked dead. Literally. Look at the picture. You can see the grey where he cut it. It looked old and dry. There was no juice or anything seeping from it. When he sliced it, it was grey and hard...still no juice. He was afraid to even eat it. It looked days old. We ended up sharing mines that was SEARED. We asked for SLOW ROASTED. The manager Alicia brought out the new steak and said she was coming out to see how we liked the food. REALLY? That food should've never left the kitchen! I immediately told her that my salad was bad, the steals were cooked wrong and old and I had to keep asking for drinks and they kept forgetting to bring them. She cut me off and said, "First of all, let me start by introducing myself". Then proceeded to ask us how our food was. I already told you. No need to repeat myself and you have eyes. You can clearly see that steak was an embarrassment to any restaurant especially when we eat at outback once a week. She argued with my husband about why his steak looked the way it did. Telling him that they probably seared his steak because they didn't have any medium ready. When he showed her the inside, she said, "Like I said they seared it". Well Alicia, we don't care what they "probably" did. We didn't ask for seared overly seasoned steak. Let's start there. Instead of going in circles, apologize, make it right and move along. Instead, you left a bad taste in my mouth from your behavior and attitude. She wasn't trying to hear anything other than herself talk. I told her I'm just going to write corporate. When she came back with the receipt, the waiter was in front of her, he cleared our table while we were sitting there. He was shaking so bad that he spilled food all over the table and dropped a knife by our feet. Thank God I was wearing tennis shoes. I don't even want to say what I was thinking if that knife dropped on my baby! If we are leaving, why not wait??? I took my baby in the stroller and moved to the side before anything crazy happened. Alicia them told us that she took care of our meal. I wish things would've been much different than they were. I wish we could've enjoyed a nice...
Read moreI love Coming to this specific outback location even though I live 25 minutes away. I do not know her name but during the day there’s a lady, I believe she’s a manager of some sort, medium to short height darker hair, always has some sort of holiday attire on in the holidays - always friendly. Always helpful. Always a pleasure when she’s in the building. I would feel wrong if I did not put that in this review and make that important distinction. However, what I am about to say does not reflect the normal operation of this location and its sad.
I just went there tonight, 9pm, May 21st. Sat at the bar with my wife. Ordered a cheese fry and wings. That’s it.
9:50 pm the food comes out. Restaurant was not full. There was maybe 8 other people in there other than us. And the food only came out because we had to remind the waiter at 9:40, if he hadn’t put the food in, I’ll pay for our drinks and leave cause we can’t wait around another 25 for it to come out and then eat and be there until 11. Of course, waiter disappears for 10 minutes so I don’t even have an option to pay and leave and then the food then comes out 10 minutes later…at that point the food was made. I paid for it, asked for a box immediately and left. Didn’t even touch it.
Kids name was Alex. Not sure if it was his mistake or the kitchens. But, terrible representation on your store location and you’ve lost several customers tonight. Not only myself in my family but as we were leaving more customers came to the bar, overheard what was happening and they also got up and left. Missed sales and missed the opportunity.
I understand Alex or whatever his name is doesn’t cook the food. But what’s the point of him being a bartender/server if he’s not actively trying to help his customers.
I am never want to leave any sort of review comment complaint or concerned and I am sure this will probably just get swept under the rug as some normal Customer who’s complaining. However, I did want to give this feedback as it has caused you to lose customers. Hopefully whoever was running the shift tonight gets this feedback learns from it and changes...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I’ve ever had. So on Saturday night February 8th I took my family to outback for my daughter’s 6th birthday after a day at the theme park. We are from Fort Lauderdale. We got to the restaurant at 8:10 pm we were seated pretty fast. Two adults 3 teenagers, and two kids ages 6 and 7. We put in our drink orders. Then our food orders. We ordered two kids chicken tenders meals, 4 center cut sirloin meals, and one chicken dinner. First off it took almost 15 mins to get our drinks. My beer took 20 minutes. Then took and hour to get the kids tenders meal after asking for them 3 times, as my kids were falling asleep at the table. Not once were we given drink refills or checked if we needs any other drinks. Finally after asking to speak to the manager did our food finally come out 20 mins later. Actually took the manager about 25 mins to come to our table even though I asked to speak to him 3 times. While waiting to speak to the manager saw our server, hostess, and other restaurant employees joke around for a while. After talking to the manager he said he was going to look at our bill after explaining the problems with our service and food. Never came back to the table. After waiting over an 1 and half for our food my girlfriend and I no longer wanted our food. Yes they did take our food off the bill because we didn’t take or eat it. Also I had informed the server it was my daughters birthday. Never brought out her ice cream or sang to her . So basically if you are looking for a restaurant to leave you unattended, hungry, thirsty, and the worst customer service you’ve ever had this is your restaurant. I do understand restaurants get busy and things happen, but when you don’t check in with your table after they stopped you about their food multiple times how do you not check and make sure their drinks are filled and that their food is taking longer than usual. Now this being said we saw multiple people being sat way after us parties of 4, 5, and 6 people getting their orders before your table receiving regular check ups...
