We came here on a whim because we really wanted sushi, and saw the reviews were really good. When we got here my hubby was skeptical based off the location and what it looked like on the outside - parking was difficult and there were smokers standing outside the restaurant. But of all the places to eat, this had the most occupancy, so I told my hubby that was a good sign and we should stick it out and I’m SO glad we did. The waitress/hostess was super nice and attentive, all our food came out fast. I got steamed potstickers and the avocado salad and hubby got the tuna avocado salad. I’m pregnant and can’t have raw fish at the moment, but my husband said the salad was fantastic, especially the amount of tuna he got vs what you pay. I got the dinosaur roll and California roll - the dinosaur roll was SO amazing I ordered a second. I loved the quality of the cali roll vs what I paid for it. Hubby got Mango Roll and it was very hearty and a LOT of fish. This may sound silly but I was super excited they had chicken nuggets and fries on their kids menu for my daughter - the chicken was good, don’t think it was homemade but it was the kind my daughter was used to and actually ate all of it. This is our new favorite sushi place in Orlando and I highly recommend it! Don’t be deterred due to parking or what it looks like on the outside, this place is AMAZING and I’m so glad we went!

Fresh Flavors at Tokyo Sushi - A Delightful Experience! šŸ“ 8111 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at Tokyo Sushi near the Vineland Outlets and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi. The highlight of my visit was the freshness of the sushi, which is made to order. Every bite was a burst of amazing flavors, enhanced by the perfect sprinkling of flakes - a true testament to the chef's attention to detail. While I enjoyed most of the sushi, I noticed that some rolls could benefit from being a bit tighter. A few of them had the tendency to unwrap, which made the eating experience slightly challenging but not less enjoyable. Regarding the tuna, some pieces seemed a bit fatty, which might indicate a lower grade of tuna being used. However, it didn't significantly detract from the overall taste and quality of the meal. Tokyo Sushi offers a delightful sushi experience with fresh ingredients and flavors that tantalize the palate. A little tweak in the roll tightness and a slight improvement in the tuna quality could make it an unbeatable destination for sushi lovers. I definitely recommend it for anyone craving sushi in Orlando and will be returning to try more of their offerings! Follow me on Twitter (x) Ashleyweis4 YouTube Darthvader1288

Second time here in 4 years according to my last review and this time my son joined us for lunch. He ordered the shrimp curry lunch bento box and he said it very tasty. My girlfriend and I ordered the exact same things as last time. My chirashi was fancier this time but still tasted delicious and the servings were still a great value for the price. Excellent bang for the buck! My girlfriend and I stopped here unexpectedly for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at the quality, size of the servings, and reasonable prices. I ordered the Chirashi and it was served in the traditional lacquered bowl. There was a good assortment of sashimi, seaweed salad, and daikon on top of the rice with a choice of miso soup or salad for a reasonable lunch price. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp tempura shrimp bento box and it was also served in the traditional lacquered bento box with a small salad, California roll, rice, and 2 large shrimp and various vegetables tempura. It also came with a bowl of miso soup. The presentation, flavor, and serving sizes were quite good so I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone In the area.

I really don't know how this place has a 4.2 star rating, I guess people haven't had authentic sushi before? Went here for lunch, ordered a miso soup, a spicy tuna roll and some other roll that the waitress recommended. Let's start with the miso soup, the miso soup was literally just sewer water with seaweed and chunks of tofu in it, it tasted awful, I literally could have ran to Publix got one of the pre made packets and had a better tasting experience for half the price. The spicy tuna roll was ok, I mean it's a spicy tuna roll and it's very hard to mess up. Then I got the roll that the waitress recommended, I think it was the flying tiger roll, it was supposed to be a shrimp tempura roll, what I got was a little bit of shrimp, A LOT of ice berg lettuce and a dollop of some spicy mayo, and that roll was gross, who puts lettuce in a sushi roll? I've had better rolls from Chinese buffets.

Anyway, I really don't recommend this place, I may have just came at a bad time, but uh.. I really doubt it, they definitely don't earn the title "BEST SUSHI IN ORLANDO FL" If you want a more authentic experience, I recommend "Sushitomi" which is only 10 minutes...
