I love Starbucks. I loved Starbucks for many years. I love how they stand for their people and people in general. I'm sad to say that, in my eyes, there's an erosion from this people-focus frame of mind they previously adopted. Not only do I support this way of business but I trained many baristas over the course of 12 years as a shift supervisor employed with the company. So yesterday I mobile ordered a coffee to prep for work in the morning. I got my coffee through drive thru and promptly headed to work. After I reached work I realized the milk was absent. I work throughout the day doing 10 hour shifts and did not even think to call. I determined to revisit the next morning and try again. When I presented the barista at drive thru with the old beverage after ordering anew she consulted a barista who I assumed was the shift supervisor. There were no apologies and no consideration or thought of any kind toward how the wrong drink influenced my day yesterday. I was only coached at drive thru about how I should call next time. And everyone was sweet, nobody was mean or anything but very disconnected. I've noticed these changes away from the customer focus even while I was employed and its dreadful. "Next time" I come back, misunderstanding that i actually want to come back. "Next time" they make a mistake, without acknowledging the mistake... I doubt I will be so generous with my time to allow another soul-less...

I asked for my drink to have caramel syrup. I pay, roll up to the window, take a sip, and it doesn’t taste like anything. I let the girl at the window know, and she rolls her eyes, takes my drink, and comes back with caramel sauce all over the top.
I drove out of drive thru, parked, and walked inside so they could fix it. Caramel sauce is very different than caramel syrup, any partner should know that, and Starbucks drinks are too expensive to walk away with something you don’t like.
I let the gentleman at the counter know what happened and he asked the girl on bar to fix it for me right away (kudos to him) but the girl who made the previous drink remade this one, slamming things all over the place, and when she was done she slid it to me over the counter and said “have a good day” in a dismissive tone without even looking up.
All in all it just felt like for the two ladies in question, being there and making coffee was a burden. I felt like an annoyance and like my patronage was unwanted.
I will not...
Read moreLet me start by saying I'm a local so I go in person to the store and have no issues BUT on delivery you cant select light ice and cannot customize very much. My previous orders I had an issue with the drinks not being filled to the top but at least they weren't watered down or all ice. I ordered a venti dragon drink today for delivery and by the time I took all the ice out, it was under that mark that says "that first sip feeling".........that is half the cup....and there was literally 3 pieces of dragon fruit in it........ I wouldnt order from delivery or pick up but I would dine in bc they are nice and get my order...
