I recently stopped by this restaurant for breakfast with my family, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. My husband, daughter, and I all ordered coffee and agreed that it was extremely weak – it tasted like water. It was so watery that we couldn't even drink it. We mentioned it to the waitress, and her response was that they were slow, which didn't make much sense. She brought another cup from a new pot, but it was just as bad. She explained that their coffee machine only has one setting and can’t be adjusted, which didn’t seem like an adequate excuse. We ended up not drinking the coffee, and she took it back. However, when the check arrived, we were still charged for the coffee.
As we waited for our check, another couple came in and ordered just two coffees to go. I couldn’t help but think, "Don’t do it!" When we were leaving, they ended up parked next to us, so we stopped to ask them how their coffee was. The lady said she thought the same thing — it tasted just as watery. She even mentioned that it looked pretty clear as she watched them pour it.
The food was just okay, but if you’re someone who really enjoys having a good cup of coffee with your breakfast, I would recommend going elsewhere. It was disappointing to go through breakfast without a cup of coffee, especially since I really looked forward to it. Unfortunately, it sounds like this is the norm at this establishment and they don't seem to think there is anything...
Read moreI don't divide the world into 2 camps -- those who think like me and those who don't. I've eaten at many establishments that are owned by Trump voters. But this place? Yikes -- the owner is cramming it down your throat. Dishes are named after Trump, paraphernalia on the wall, and swag making fun of BLM movement. All while the sign above the door reads "enter as strangers -- leaves as friends". The irony! Staff tell me the owner is a thoughtful person, so yet another example of cult mentality. Ma'am -- just feed hungry people and actually BE a place of community. I couldn't care less about your politics. Why do you want customers to feel uncomfortable? Why don't you want my thoughtful patronage when I'll always be kind to your staff and tip...
Read moreThree stars for being comfortable, and having a pleasant staff. Food is acceptable, purely average which is ok for a quick bite with fresh coffee. THE RUB....why, why would you comprise an otherwise pleasant breakfast experience with "FRESH BUTTERY TASTE SPREAD"??? Who is selling this stuff to the area restaurants? Forget about saving the three cents per customer and put some REAL BUTTER on the table (and the toast, and the egg pan....). Sorry, I don't get it. Sadly, I leave here feeling duped again, another breakfast ravaged by the almighty dollar. Breakfast is an important, memorable meal. There is NO SUBSTITUTE for the taste of real butter. Consider it...
