The item in question – a basket of chicken wings, ostensibly a staple of bar cuisine – arrived with an appearance so lackluster it could only foreshadow the experience to come. The wings, which should sing with a crisp exterior yielding to tender meat within, were instead a soggy ensemble of undercooked poultry, the skin limply clinging to the flesh in a manner most unappetizing.

As if the textural missteps were not disheartening enough, the sauce – that vital companion to any wing worthy of the name – was a travesty. Far from the zesty, mouthwatering concoction one might anticipate, this sauce was an insipid affair, lacking both the boldness of flavor and the satisfying cling to its companion wings that one expects from such a condiment. It was as if the sauce itself had given up, resigning to a fate of mediocrity.

Obviously, this place will depend on what look you're going in for, as far as the atmosphere.

I was going for a place to stop in, with the locals, to just grab a mug, drink only half of it and just sit there for a little bit and check out what the schedule was.

Me being new to the area.... I was just looking for people that were kind of my age, in a relaxed atmosphere.

That said, perfect for what I was looking for and they did you have a pretty good schedule going for different events, as far as the day-to-day schedule on the back of the menu.

I paid with change, nobody haggled me about the coins, being there without really ordering more than my mug, and everybody seemed friendly with each other and me.

I was pleased that Sundays from 3 to 7:00 p.m. they have live music. No I don't really know if there's a genre of music they play, judging by the feel of the place. But that is mostly assuming with maybe just a dash of presuming

The food here is great! The chef gave me a whole new take on cheesesteak! It comes on a bed of homemade French fries instead of bread! It came out on a small platter. The portion size was huge! I was blown away at how good this was! Im told its usually done as a special, but my friends asked if we could have it, the waitress checked and Chef said yes! 3 of us ordered it! I love cheesesteak and typically order it everywhere I go when it's my first time there! This was a game changer! Way to go Chef! We ordered mozzarella sticks for the table. They were big, delicious and perfectly crunchy. My husband ordered chicken fingers w/fries. He said it was really good. The chicken was very crispy- exactly the way he likes it!
