Company Supply — Restaurant in Dublin

Woof. My wife and I went through here years ago and had a really great experience. Not sure what's happened since but I came through with my daughter and man that was really awful.

My daughter ordered the 6oz. pulled chicken with the mashed potatoes and mandarin oranges. What she got was a puck of cat food, some aggressively ok mashed potatoes, and a giant bowl filled with a frankly insane amount of canned orange slices. Like so many. I wish I'd grabbed a picture.

I ordered a side salad and the uh "gumbo." Their house dressing is a ramekin of just honey with some raw bacon on top. The salad was iceberg, shredded carrots, a fully bizarre mixed dice of tomatoes and cucumbers---a pico de gringo, if you will---and all the cheese that would fit on the plate.

Let's talk about this gumbo. I'm sorry guys, I ain't from Louisiana but that definitely wasn't no gumbo. This was a wide, shallow bowl with a spoonful of rice, some "sausage slices" (I guess? Weird texture and almost no flavor), the same bland chicken my daughter had, and what I can only describe as brown chicken broth. Guys, gumbo is thick. My spoon should sit on top of the stuff. What are y'all doing.

Company Supply was a great surprise. Simple looking building, but great food.

One friend had the PIMENTO FRIED GREEN TOMATO SANDWICH! Her review was that it was delicious. Tomato was lightly fried which was perfect. Cheesy grits had a lot of good flavor and texture.

Another had SALMON PONTCHARTRAIN. He said it was partly cooked. The crab sauce and asparagus were excellent and complemented the salmon so well.

I had a RIBEYE STEAK with GARLIC MASHED and GREEN BEANS. I also added a BLUE CRAB sauce. I can't say enough about this steak perfectly cooked, very tender , and topped off with that delicious crab sauce. The green beans and potatoes had a mild garlic accent which are classic staples to any good steak meal.

I had a PINEAPPLE CIDER to drink which was sweet, and refreshing.

Finally i closed out this real excellent experience with FOSTER ALA MODE. The bananas were warm, but not too mushy. The waffle was crisp enough to maintain its structure until it was all eaten, and the ice cream was traditional vanilla. A very satisfying sweet treat.

Service was great, food matches the service, I hope to return the next time I roll...

I will be honest here. I sale cars At Jimmy Britt Chrysler In Dublin Ga so I understand the importance of Customer service. I have eaten all around different cities in Ga and different states and I will say this here, Jacob Nesmith is by far the Greatest Waiter Me and my wife has ever had! Hands down! This guy kept our refills on time he asked all the right questions and he was very patient. It’s very hard to do your job when you’re so busy. He did not panic he remained calm and he took care of us tonight and for that we thank him so much! The next time we go to company supply we will ask For him and If he’s not available to serve us we will be patient and wait on him. He was so Great to me and my wife. I walked up to him and asked him his first name and last name and How to spell it because I want him to get the recognition he so rightfully deserves. God Bless him and we pray he continues to be a blessing to family’s because he honestly made our stressful night so Wonderful and amazing! He turned our night around!
