Sea Shells Seafood Sports Bar + Lounge — Restaurant in Dublin

We have eaten at Shells Seafood in a different state so when we saw this restaurant Sea Shells we decided to try it. The waitress was very friendly but with only two tables she could have payed more attention to empty drink glasses. I ordered the blackened grouper while my wife ordered the catch of the day which happened to be tilapia. My grouper came out cold and rubbery. The hush puppies were small round balls that look like they came from a Walmart freezer bag. The best thing on the plate was the corn on the cob that didn’t even fit in the round bowl that it was supposed to be sitting in. The eating utensils was nothing but a plastic fork and knife and a package with one napkin which wouldn’t hardly even cut through the grouper so I only ate half of it and left the rest. However, I did eat the corn and my wife’s fish tasted much better. The owner did come out and show his presence and talk with the customers and ask them how their meals were which was a good thing. The worst shrimp Cesar salad ever. I ordered via phone and I got a call stating they ran out of romaine lettuce and if was okay to use iceberg lettuce instead. Yes, I said. When I picked it up they had put grated cheese instead of the shredded parmesan cheese. I inquired and was told they were out of it. At that point I didn't want it so hostess went to bring someone to speak with me. In the mean time another person asked if there was something they could help me with abd I explained about the cheese. They took the salad in the back and sprinkled cheddar cheese on it 👀🤔. Then I asked where is the Cesar dressing at that time the hostess went to get it. Got it home and it was the worst Cesar salad I have ever ate. I would have prefer them telling me they didn't have it than to experience this. Was not worth $14.00.....oh and did I mentioned it was only FIVE small shrimps with the shell on the tail.....who does that?.........SHELLS,...

My husband took me out to lunch today at Sea Shells Seafood down town Dublin and this was our first time visiting this establishment that's been opened about a month now and I am so glad my husband wanted to stop here and try out there food. After debating on whether eating in or getting Carry out. and my husband looking around he said they have pool tables and he wanted for us to play a game so we decided to eat there and shot a game of pool while waiting for our food to be prepared. Everything was great and I was very impressed with the Atmosphere and the Cleanliness of this Restaurant and The FLAVOR OF THE FOOD EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS and I told the Chief that The food was delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NEW SEA SHELLS SEAFOOD ESTABLISHMENT THAT'S LOCATED DOWN TOWN...
