Moe’s on Madison — Restaurant in Dublin

Ive eaten lunch here and had the smash burger on a few occassions and its the best burger you can get in dublin.. but that aint why Im here... I want to tell you about the NewYork strip I had... asked for just salt and pepper but they offer several other steak preps.. came cooked to order with a perfect char... only a few Vegas steaks can even compare... nothing in Savannah or Atlanta has come close... it was the second best NewYork Ive had and Ive eaten them in Texas and Vegas at 5 times the price... I dont know if i just got lucky with an amazing piece of meat or not but you can bet Im going back to find out... the red beans and rice were a great side... wife had the special which was a heavenly pot roast with all the veg you expect... the starter we got was not a starter but you most assuredly should get it.. its called honey toast and your wife will talk about it every day till you take her back... it is the best thing Ive ever had with the word honey attached to it... and the second best thing I can think of to have as dessert... just go for the honey toast its insanely good... the wine was also excellent...

update... went back to see if they could reproduce the wonderful first experience I had with their steak.... No doubt the best steak I have ever had in Dubln ga.... Wife's filet and my strip both absolute perfection.... cant...

This was our first date night in over nine months, and we've been so excited to try this place. I have almost never left a negative review, but we were so disappointed. We waited a good while to be seated, even though the restaurant wasn't full at all. The kitchen was out of the appetizer we ordered, and our server never took our replacement order. She never brought our salad (sorry, no ranch!) or refilled our drinks. We waited a ridiculously long time for our food, and when it arrived, it was the wrong pork sandwich. I didn't bother telling her she brought the wrong thing, because it was at least the same type of meat I ordered, and our entire night was already gone waiting on the first order. The (wrong) food itself was flavored well; however it was so greasy my stomach was feeling sick by the time we left. There was no mention or offer of dessert. For the price, I was expecting a nice, upper end meal, and that was not our experience. As for the atmosphere, the decor was nice, but the entire time the same 4-5 country songs played on repeat VERY loudly, alternating with periods of complete dead silence. I will not be...

My daughter and I decided to visit as this is our half point between Statesboro and Macon. We love trying new places. Let me start by saying yes the service was wonderful.The gentlemans name was Kelvin I believe. He made us laugh immediately and was very knowledgeable about the menu. It was warm as we entered so we chose a table that had air blowing on us. We ordered burgers and fries. I pushed for 3 stars because of Kelvin. There was just NO flavor on the burger. I tried a few bites as I had cut mine in half. I kept hoping for flavor each bite. I searched for their special sauce and there was some on the bottom bun. We had ordered double burgers at the suggestion of Kelvin. Both my daughter and I had the same experience with pretty tasteless burger. We were SO disappointed as we were excited from all the reviews. The fries I asked for a little crispy but they were mealy inside. Disappointed. We were served popcorn at the beginning of the meal which we thought was just about the cutest thing ever. Popcorn was HEAVILY salted. We wanted such a good experience but alas not sure...
