Southern Heritage Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Dublin

Based on previous reviews, I was expecting a better quality experience. However, the staff was not particularly friendly or attentive. A gentleman took our order and he was patient, however, the women he turned our ticket over to did not even acknowledge me as I paid for our meal and she forgot to give us our drinks. The menu was full of items you would expect at a BBQ joint, but little description was provided. My little sister ordered chicken fingers, and we had no indication that it would come with fries, so we over ordered sides. The food was mediocre. I did not have high expectations for the chicken fingers, but I was expecting the BBQ sandwich to have a little more umph. The prices were reasonable. All in all, I would not return, but on the upside, their BBQ sauce was...

Just ate here today and very disappointed. Staff was not friendly or welcoming. Portions were ridiculously small for the price. Pork was mushy and full of tangy sauce like what you find in the frozen food section in round bowls or in a school cafeteria. Brunswick stew was basically sweet vegetable soup. Green peas do not go in brunswick stew and neither do chunked potatoes! Stew ingredients are ground not left whole like vegetable soup. Ribs were not bad. Good smoke but not enough rub and too small. Potato salad was okay. 2 slices of bread were dry and had hard edges. Just not what was expected based off reviews. We left more than we ate and at $64 for 3 pork plates and a rib plate with 4 drinks, thats as hard to swallow...

If I could give zero stars I would...this place is awful...the food was barely edible...it was old and cold... Brisket was like rubber.. the stew was plum AWFUL... vegetables weren't even cooked and the owner said he couldn't help us that it is what is....he couldn't exchange it for something new because it would cost him money.. if you eat at this place as a regular then you don't know what good BBQ tastes like...all these owners care about is their wallet not their customers. He had a chance to make it right but ultimately made a fool of himself and said I am a liar... What would have to gain to lie other than a different...
