Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Dublin

It’s unbelievable that they allow pets inside their restaurant. I am disgruntled and disgusted with how far businesses are willing to break the rules just to appease any and everybody. These restaurants and grocery stores are so afraid of offending anyone or afraid of loosing a few bucks that they allow the health of everyone else patronizing them to be put in jeopardy. I’m so done with American standards where anything goes!!! This particular day there was a lady and her pet dog inside a baby carriage inside of Golden Corral restaurant. And of course she was petting the animal. So was she always feeding the animal while sitting at the table? More than likely. Did she wash her hands before using the same serving utensils as all of the other guests? I doubt it . I’m just tired of employees and managers acting like they don’t see it or being afraid to address they issue. You know that is a health code violation or at lease it used to be unless they have watered down their standards like everyone else. Same thing with Kroger and Walmart. They allow pets to enter the grocery stores and ride in the shopping carts. Definitely won’t be returning to this location...

Well, I meant to post this review a lot earlier - and since the owners saw it to reply to my simple 5-star rating (which is worth an extra star in itself - wish I could give 6!) Let me tell you why I left it.

As Golden Corrals go, this one is absolutely top tier. The buffet items available go above and beyond most others that I have visited, and all of the food was fresh and prepared very well.

I noticed that they used pans that have a shallower depth than I was used to seeing, which means less food on the pan and less time out in the buffet - which in this case is a good thing, because they wasted no time in getting a fresh batch of food out whenever one of those shallow pans went empty!

The server (I wish I could remember her by name) was also incredible. Maybe the best I've ever run across. Very attentive to our table and anticipated (and even suggested!) our needs perfectly.

Definitely a 5-star experience and if you're ever in the Dublin area I highly recommend you stop there to get you belly full of quality food at a...

The food was awesome as always Since Golden Coral is a buffet style restaurant I don't order anything off the menu I think they have one though. Honestly though I wouldn't order off the menu because the buffet bar has something for everyone. I have been trying to eat a little healthier so I steered clear of the fried foods like the chicken and shrimp and fish even though they are ohh so delicious...I had the sauteed fish and an awesome salad from the salad bar with a big helping of beets that I mixed with the sauteed green peppers and onions...simply wonderful...I followed it with what I believed was a steamed possibly baked sweet potato....I like golden corral because I he children's meal prices are less than the adults and the selection is such I know there will be something for even my pickiest of eaters..the wait staff is very attentive but also give you enough space to enjoy your meal....the bathrooms continue to be kept in...
