Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

I was in there on December 25th and was completely ignored after getting my initial cup of coffee. I figured that was due to it being Christmas day. I went in the next day, December 26th with my 9 year old daughter. Had the same server. Ordered a waffle, a kid's soda and a coffee. The total should've been 8.00. (4.75 for the waffle. 1.00 for the kids drink and 2.25 for the coffee. ) the server charged 2.25 for the kids drink. I showed her the menu where it says kids beverage 1.00. She argued and said that since she brought my child a large glass and my child had drank it that the price was 2.25. I said I specifically asked for a kids soda. She then said the child had to have a kids meal to get the kids beverage price. I asked to speak to a manager and was denied. I was threatened with the police. The cook even insinuated she would come outside and throw hands. This is unacceptable. I have no problem paying a bill when said bill is rung up properly according to menu prices. I enjoy my times at waffle houses wherever I'm at but not at this one. I will not return to this waffle house or any that are going to try this same thing. I've been told one other time that in order for the drink to be 1.00 my child had to have a kids meal. I've asked corporate, and every single other waffle house manager that I've ever talked to and that is...

Arrive late night just came off the road was hungry. Was trying to decide if I wanted to sit and eat or dine in. We'll there was no server in the restaurant when I walked in only the cook. So the cook as what it was I needed I ordered through him. He then fixed my food about 5-7 mins later the server walked in without even washing her hands coming from outside packaging up my food rang my food up didn't ask what I wanted to drink. I then asked her can you do me a favor and wash your hands you just came from outside.. Unprofessional on the server end and unsanitary. I still left a small tip. I've done restaurant business for over 15 years I wasn't going to not leave anything times are tough right now. The whole bar was filthy and sticky in which when I left the server still had not cleaned it there were more customers coming in...

It was a very disappointing experience. There were NO clean tables when we arrived. There was not a lot of people in there when we first got there just that the tables were full of dirty dishes. Had to wait several minutes before we could get anybody's attention. Basically they ignored us until another couple, that must be regulars, said, "Hey you need to take care of this couple over here". And they still took their sweet diddly time. There were things that were supposed to be on the menu which they did not have on hand. They kept locking the front door for what ever reason.
