Taqueria Tlaxcali: Traditional Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Dublin

A Tuesday, 6:30PM. On the way home from sailing Lake Nockamixon. Decided to stop and try it, as I'd met the owner elsewhere.

Partner orders a veggie taco. Okay.

I asked for Al Pastor. "Sorry, we're out."

Okay, Carnitas. "Sorry we're out of that, too."

Okay, what DO you have? "Chicken or beef."

Okay, chicken. "That'll be about a 25-minute wait."

Adiós muchacha.

Adiós para siempre Taqueria Tlaxcali.

Seriously, carnitas and pastor, you make them up to weeks in advance. Then heat them up. How do you run out? And how do you have a 25-minute-wait (without any other customers in sight)...

Delicious, fresh and authentic! I have eaten from here quite a few times and it’s always on point. From the hand made corn tortillas to the salsas and toppings. Everything is very fresh and no detail is overlooked. I usually get the chicken Gordita and it is perfection! Tender, juicy flavorful chicken with shredded lettuce and queso fresco tucked inside a fresh corn tortilla pocket. It’s served with a tomatillo based salsa with cilantro that compliments it very well. So glad to have great Mexican cuisine right here in Dublin! Thank you...

Do yourselves a favor, make this your new place. Miriam and the crew at Taqueria Tlaxcali have a deep understanding what authentic Mexican food should taste like. Unbelievable handmade masa corn tortillas made on-site. Delicious nachos, all the meats are outstanding. Simply put, there is not one thing that comes out of Miriams kitchen that isn't delicious.
