This was a great restaurant for a (no worries how loud you laughed) fantastic date with my significant other.
To choose from on the buffet was an array of soups, salads, breads, fruits, vegetables and deserts. No need to make a decission (unless watching your weight or for health reasons of course) on which to eat. The buffet is all you can eat and clean. It's a great deal even if you don't get an entree. You can certainly fill up healthily at this buffet.
On the menu was also, various (healthy to the not so healthy but still delicious) entrees of steaks, and seafood. I believe I saw chicken dishes on the possibles as well.
The staff was friendly, helpful and quick to take the discarded plates pushed to the end of the table, to make room to get another round of tasty choices.
The bathrooms were also clean & maintained regularly. Big mirrors to see if you've spilled anything on yourself before returning with that embarrassing broccoli in your teeth. You know the one right in front when your smiling big and happy, with a green monstrous veggie clinging there. Hahaha. Just kidding but it happens. You know it's happened with corn on the cob... Dont fool yourself. It can happen with broccoli too. Lol. Just sayin'
bon appétit!

Read moreOh where to start… ever been to one of those ‘been there for ages’ type restaurants? You know the one that has survived because of their name and the lack of available options? Well, welcome to Hoss… where the food taste was as inspiring as its vintage red pleather benches and the wall decor that was hip when the Brady Bunch was in prime time. My wife and I were excited to get a steak. When looking at the menu we did have some questions… like what’s the stuffed steak made with, and how about the flat steak? The answer surprised me… now many of you probably are expecting me to say she said ‘flat’ she didn’t. She said “good”?!?!?!? As I write this I’m still trying to figure out how ”good” actually answers either of my questions… I opted for stuffed. Wanna know what I learned???? Stuffed is a relative term… not like stake Oscar where the steak is literally filleted and crab is stuffed inside… no, not like that. Stuffed in this case would be like taking 1 slice of bread, putting a slice of cheese on it, then folding it over and declaring it as stuffed bread… yes, like that. On the plus side, they got my fries right the second time around. The soup wasn’t bad and my wife said the broccoli salad was good… so there’s...
Read moreWow what an experience. My friends and I were coming from a trip out East when we decided to stop in grab something to Eat. The problem began when we 1st entered the establishment.. The whole dining room went silent and every patron in the establishment started staring at us. The Staring continued after we were seated. The stares were uncomfortable and unerving. Our eyes would wonder and meet with others with grimaced faces of disgust. We were outsiders and not welcome.on to the meal. Oh boy. My friends ordered the burgers and I opted for the house special of Salisbury steak.the burgers were obviously frozen and microwaved for 4 mins on high. The Salisbury steak was blackened to a crisp as if it were a lump of coal. It tasted as such, burnt and dry. On our long ride home a feeling began to arise within each of us. That of a battle between whatever type of meat that was and our stomachs. The bathroom has been my friend and partner since the occasion .
