Don't let the outside appearance of the restaurant fool you. Do not judge a book by its cover. This place is absolutely fantastic. I had the bowl of the week which was a steak and teriyaki mac-n-cheese. Unfortunately my steak was overcooked and the portion of beef was not very large. Although my protein portion was on the small side the portion size of the pasta was huge. Ms. Sue was our waitress and she knows her stuff. She was kind and very interactive with my children. Eventhough my steak was small and over cooked the flavor profile I had was fantastic. I almost wanted to like my plate. My wife had the Buffalo chicken mac-n-cheese. She substituted the Buffalo sauce for BBQ sauce. My wife and sister in law piece of chicken they had with thier meals was tender flavorful and delicious. We also had a cheese pizza. The pizza dough was homemade and the sauce was delicious. The mac-n-cheese bowls are definitely big enough for two people to share. My kids got the vanilla ice cream Sundays it was so good i thought it was homemade. Fantastic flavors great atmosphere. The owner came over and talked to us. We will 💯 most definitely be back...

Found this gem when searching google for ‘open restaurants near me’ and so happy we did! We arrived on a Sunday morning and loved the fresh/modern interior. Pleasantly surprised with the draft beer list, espresso drink options, and breakfast cocktails (I opted for a Bloody Mary and it was spicy and refreshing). As pictured, I also ordered the breakfast tacos. Though messy, these had fabulous flavor and texture (hash browns added a crunchy layer and egg yolk mixed with créma were *chefs kiss). Partner got the chicken and waffle casserole (not pictured since he started eating before I snapped a photo). Great flavor and AWESOME dipping sauce (hot maple syrup with actual spiciness) - his meal paired well with breakfast stout. We were fortunate enough to chat with one of the owners who told us about upcoming events like Trivia Night and a tap take over from a local brewery. We decided to give this place a try today based on the menu and the reviews and we are glad that we did! We were craving a lunch that was both nutritious and satisfying which tends to be difficult for restaurants. The public house delivered on both with their lunch special "Pear, cranberry, red onion & blue cheese crumbles on top of mixed greens with candied walnuts and house made poppy seed dressing". It was evident that the salad was a product of creativity and culinary skills. The combo of fruits and veggies in just the right proportions paired very well together and hit the palate just right. I also tried their Fish Tacos with house which were topped with mango salsa, fresh cabbage, and creamy cilantro lime sauce which was yet another culinary delight! Moreover, they demonstrated excellence in customer service when they kindly explained that the tacos were actually a dinner special but they were willing to serve them for lunch.
