Fort Worth Restaurant — Restaurant in DuBois

We've eaten here before several times and the food was wonderful and the service was great. There were 4 of us who went last night and based on that, I'm not sure we'll go back. We were the first table seated when they opened and were seated in the back because of tables. Two other parties were seated within a few minutes. We ordered drinks and appetizer and we decided on our orders. The waiter brought our drinks and went to the other tables without asking for out orders. He didn't return for quite some time. When he did it was to go to one of the other tables to explain that no one knew how to make the drinks they had ordered. Finally took our order and we remined him that we had ordered an app. He brought out our app and bread and then again went off. Nest thing we know he is bringing out the meals for the other tables. Then he comes to ask how I want my steak. Then about 10 minutes later he askes my husband what kind of pasta he wanted. I'm not sure who was at fault for all the hold ups but when my steak and baked potato came they were both cold. My husbands pasta was barely warm. I do understand that they have just reopened and maybe not up to speed yet but they certainly were not bust at that time of day. As I said I'm not sure we will bother to make...

I got married 8/24/24, at Palumbo’s Lodge and Event Center. Fort Worth had to do the catering since the owner owns the venue as well. We paid $18.99/plate just to have overcooked, bland, horrible food. Almost half of our guests got sick after eating the food. I missed half of my wedding due to being in the bathroom 10-15 mins after eating. The food was dry, had no taste, and the salad was horrible. “Brown lettuce pieces!” When I explained what happened to the event coordinator, she said she would speak with the owner, and let me know what he says…. ** Well, I got absolutely no where! So, this is my last resort. Make it publicly known how horrible their food was, and that half my guests including myself were sick from eating their food.

The only plus side is they packaged up all the left over food for us to have the next day…. Well turns out my husband ate left overs the next afternoon, and was sick for 2.5 days!! When I went to throw out all the left overs two days later; my green bean sauce was brown! Like dark brown and did not smell good at all.

My sister and I agreed to go here for our birthday dinner this year as something new to try. BIG MISTAKE! We had to ask for bread. She brought enough for 4 people. We had 11 people. Ask for more, only came with four more again. Waited 1.5 hours for food. We were the first people there in the whole restaurant and every single table was served before we were. We were discussing to get up and walk out when she finally said ours is up next. Yea because we were the only ones left to serve even though we arrived first. Many of the other tables ordered what we did because we thought many times it was ours. We still debated to leave. We should have. Bad service and bad food. I had to go back and yell excuse me because all the wait staff were behind a wall in the kitchen and we wanted our check to leave. We were there for 2 hours from start to finish and they weren’t even busy. Horrible experience and we have contacted them about our experience to give them a chance to make it right and they never contacted us. Do NOT waste your time here.
