Today I was CHEATED at Chinese dhabba Duluth today. Well I have never complained about this place and I have been here for take outs many times Me and my husband both. the guy at the cash counter named Mohammed which is on my receipt probable thought I was a kid or new to making payments. . But I placed an order for take out worth 27 dollars with taxes . I tried to tap my card once but it dint work on their machine. However then I tried to put the card in the card sloth being a short person I could not see well the sloth so that guy at the counter took the card from my hand ( which he should have asked me before taking it straight away) and billed my card for 31. 05 dollars and to my surprise he himself added the 4. 05 dollar tip on his own without asking me. This is very unprofessional and extremely dishonest restaurant to do so. I could have complained and made an issue out of it. But I dint. The only thing I said to him was “ is the tip automatically taken. “ he dint say a word and behaved as if he dint know what happened or what he did. I let it go. 4 dollars is small amount but the way it was taken was wrong. I have been there many times and this was expected from them. This is called cheating your customers no matter the amount but he should have asked me before putting the tip on his own. I would have happily tipped him. Very wrong on his part. This is the way you loose customers. Just so if someone who is in authority at that place should take action so that this person doesn’t do the same thing with someone else. Everyone is not going to leave quietly. My order transaction no is 019632. Just so if someone...

Now about the food. I ordered the medium spice Szechuan Lo Mein with steamed rice. The Lo Mein did have a medium level of spice (heat) to it but lacked any flavor whatsoever. Ever cook noodles and taste it for doneness? That's exactly how the Lo Mein tasted. Plain.... I mean seriously, how do you cook flavor out of onions, bell peppers, shrimp...etc. The noodles were so overcooked they were pasty, just like the stuff you used to eat in kindergarten. Gross!
The shrimp should have been cooked for no more than a minute given they were the size of a pinky nail but they were also overcooked. They appeared to be boiled but I'll give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. You should be able to bite into a shrimp, there should be texture to it, there should be flavor to it, not just a mass of mush that can be squished with your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
The steamed rice was also slightly overcooked. Seemed as though it sat in the rice cooker and continued steaming while waiting for an order. Not mushy but it had very little texture to it.
BLUF - There appears to be no pride taken by the cook who prepared this particular...
Read moreI came across this restaurant on TikTok and decided to give it a try — but unfortunately, it was a big disappointment.
First, the customer service was nonexistent. I mentioned it was my first time there and tried to ask a few questions about the menu, but the staff member seemed uninterested and unwilling to help.
Second, I was asked to pay before receiving any food, which felt strange, especially since I was dining in.
Third, and most concerning, was the cleanliness. I’ve been to many restaurants, but this one had some of the worst conditions I’ve seen. The floors and tables were noticeably dirty, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning wasn’t working — they had a standing fan running instead, which didn’t help much in the heat.
Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I definitely won’t be returning. Based on what I saw, I genuinely believe a food safety inspection is needed to address the...
