Happened to be in the area and decided to stop by for some Middle Eastern food. There were no customers in the restaurant around 5ish or so. I ordered my food to go. It took a little over 10 minutes to prepare my order. I ordered a tabouli salad, raw Kibbeh, and the mix Shawarma sandwich. My total was about $36 without tip. I thought the food was a little pricey.
The service was OK. I did let the cashier know It was my first time, but she did not make any recommendations except when I asked about the Shawarma. She told me the most ordered was the mix Sandwich. I did ask about the freshness of the meat for the kibbeh Since we would be eating it raw and she said it was super fresh.
The Shawarma sandwich was average size. In my honest opinion, the chicken Shawarma needed a lot more seasoning. It felt like a thinly sliced chicken breast that was lacking seasoning. Without the tabouli or garlic sauce that came on the sandwich. I donât think I wouldâve been able to eat it. Definitely lacked seasoning for my taste. Their garlic Crema, which I got on the side was fire! 100% recommend that sauce. It really honestly saved the shawarma sandwich for me. You can even dip your falafel in that sauce because it is that good.
The raw kibbeh needed a lot of seasonings and salt. It had none of the kibbeh flavors. Luckily, I had the kibbeh seasoning at home so I ended up mixing it back up. Otherwise to me, itâs totally bland and inedible. I was highly disappointed when I got home and discovered it did not come with pita bread. Like who can eat this dish without pita bread? If they wouldâve told me that it did not come with pita bread, I wouldâve ordered some and paid for it. Needless to say, I was very upset.
I was told the tabouli was enough for two people, but sadly, it was just enough for one as a side. The tabouli salad was delicious for sure. It was fresh and had the right amount of lemon juice, olive oil and salt. I would order it again if I returned.
For me, this place was meh! A definite miss. Unfortunately, I donât see...
Read moreDomasco delivers a satisfying Middle Eastern dining experience with generous portions and standout flavors. The shawarmas are especially impressiveârich, well-seasoned, and authentically prepared. The platter for two is a great value, featuring tender meats and a variety of sides that showcase the kitchenâs attention to quality.
The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with tasteful decor that adds to the overall ambiance. One small suggestion: the tabbouleh could benefit from a finer chop to better balance texture and flavor. Still, this is a minor note in an otherwise excellent meal.
Highly recommended for anyone craving hearty, authentic Mediterranean fare. Itâs amazing how authentically Middle Eastern the flavors areâespecially knowing itâs crafted by a Latino team. Thatâs real culinary skill and...
Read moreI wanted to try this new Mediterranean restaurant, and I was not disappointed! We got the sampler platter for 2, and there was a variety of delicious foods that came with it: dolma, mujaddara, fattoush salad, chicken/steak skewer meat, humus/baba ganoush, falafel, and more. We also got a to-go order with the mixed schwarma wrap, and it was amazing with the sesame tahini and garlic sauce.
Even though the place was packed with customers, it only took about 5 minutes to get our food. I enjoyed the atmosphere and how the place was decorated.
If you want a hearty, complete meal with a variety of flavors to try and fast service, I would...
