Before I get started, let me say...the food was worth every overly priced cent! I was not upset about my meal at all! I would definitely go back. The first time I went with my sisters for our oldest sister's birthday (12/3/2022), but I will go back to take my husband soon.
Now, to the complains, we made a reservation a month before we went. In the description it tells you that you will be charged $100+ dollars if you do not keep the reservation (charged to the card you have to leave on file to make the reservation). So naturally, we kept our reservation! We got there at 7:45. Our reservation was at 8. We sat in the car until 7:55 then headed toward the building where we were bamboozled out of $10 for parking by the "doorman".
Once inside, the hostess tells us that we can't be seated and they would call us when they had a table. So we went back to the car. (Couldn't go to the bar for drinks because if they sat us at the we couldn't change to a table when one became available, like most restaurants).
We sat in the car for nearly an hour. When they called us for our table we asked if we would be able to speak to the manager about the wait. The waitress assured us we would.
We ordered drinks, appetizers, and our food. (See attached photos). It took forever to get our meals, but we didn't really mind. We enjoyed people watching and taking pics. When our food eventually came out we were NOT disappointed! It was delicious!!! Oh, did I mention my drink was amazing too?!! It was! Pretty, tasty, and potent! My kinda party!
As we started wrapping up our dinner, we asked to speak to the manager. (Oh, none of us could pay with cash 'cause no one in the building had any $, so change couldn't be made! š³) The waitress said she would get the manager and walked off.
Meanwhile (I'm nosey so I was all over in the next table's business) and just so happened to notice the lady at the front who was giving the hostess instructions when we came into the building was now taking orders. She introduced herself to the nice couple as Deezy. (The tables are extremely close in the restaurant, another con). Deezy walked away and about 5 mins later our waitress returned. She informed us that the manager declined our request to speak because of being busy. My sister had the mind to ask the manager's name. The waitress said Desiree. Yes, internet, the lady that had just been at the table next to ours named Deezy was now too busy to come to our table which was 3 feet away! š¤¦š¾Y'all, I can't make this stuff up! The waitress was kind enough to even point out the owner who was also in the building and about 10 feet away talking to guess who....Deezy! (See attached photos)
So somehow she could find our table neighbors and the owner which were all next to us, but couldn't get to us! š¤
Before we left, the waitress brought us 4 shot glasses of margarita MIX. Mix people....straight virgin, no alcohol! One of my sisters drank hers, the rest of us left it. (See attached photos). We were outdone and disappointed! š” If I were the owner of an establishment and customers that had just spent $300+ with me wanted to talk, I would have showed up, plain and simple! Customer service isn't "serving" these days like it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe all know that ATLANTA has a lot of good places to eat, but please put Fade and Facet on your listā¦.the TOP of your list!!!
Letās start with the serviceā¦..our new friend Shannon was our host and server. She welcomed us in as if we were family coming into her home. She also gave amazing drinks and food recommendations. Just all around a cool person. This is something I truly loved because she wasnāt the only one who treated us like family, and so did the guy working the door and the parking attendant. So to everyone here, thank you!.....š„š„š„š„
THE DRINKS:ā¦. The starter drinks that Shannon recommended!...I had the Pink Moon šš and this was good!! Imagine a lemon drop shot with watermelon in it. Second drink, The Emerald Goddess š and this was good, but not as good as the Pink Moonā¦lol
THE FOOD:ā¦.We started with the Rasta Pasta and added the Oxtails to it. Iām drool as I write this review because it was above and beyond good š¤¤ā¦The pasta cooked just right, the Oxtails were tender and bursting with flavor, and I canāt forget about the amazing sauce on the pasta! Next, we had the Deep Fried Snapper. Iāll keep it short and sweet by saying this best Snapper Iāve ever eaten. I am being 100% honest!!...side tip: Take a little bit of your plantains, your rice, your Snapper, and little bit of your sauce and it all at onceā¦.just me youāll be happy that you didā¦.
Saving the best for last with the Cajun Shrimp and Lobster Mac. Of course, a lot of restaurants are doing this now, but not the way Fade and Facet does it. I can tell they are using the proper cheeses to make this Mac, I tasted some really good smoked gouda and loads shrimp and lobster. This was definitely the best dish of the nightā¦š„š„š„š„ā¦Please keep in mind that this dish, like the other dishes I mentioned above, is enough to share with another person.
Restaurant Rating: 99 out 100% (A+)
This is definitely going on BrycesBites top restaurant list.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do not post reviews much. Due to the bad experiences, I encountered at this place I will have too. First let me just say everyone was nice and especially the waitress my husband and I had. It was my husband's birthday and we wanted to take him out. We booked two different reservations in order for us to celebrate with our sister. We were able to sit by each other with two separate tables, but we were not sitting together at one table. The manager came over to us and asked were we together, we stated not in the booking reservation we were not, but we came in together. The manager went on to proceed to go speak with our waitress. By her body language she was not happy with the seating arrangements. I found it very disrespectful, she should have spoken with her in the back not in front of us. I wanted to leave at that point. Once we decided to leave our waitress came to tell us if we left, we would get charged a reservation fee if we didn't order off the menu. I was very reluctantly due to the reservation fee policy stating if we did not show up, we could get charged if we canceled our reservations less than 24 hrs. We showed up and did not like how things were handle, so we wanted to leave but couldn't without paying money out. She then moved us both from the area we were sitting but claim to my husband and I they seated us at the wrong table but went on to move my sister and her date as well with no explanation. Next, we were charged for parking in a public parking, owned by other buildings, which was not FADE +Facet property! I will NEVER come here again! I have traveled to many places, and this is far from most the worst experience and not to mention we traveled 200+ miles. The one star is definitely for our waitress for being so professional and humble...
