Jade Dragon Wok-Out — Restaurant in Duluth

DO NOT GO HERE. I’m honestly disgusted. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but tonight was a complete horror show. Every single dish we ordered was ROTTEN. I don’t know if the meat was left out for hours or if it was out sunbathing in the back, but once we opened those containers, the smell hit us like a brick wall. Kung Pao Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, General Tso Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup—everything tasted spoiled. The hygiene? Clearly out the window. I’m genuinely worried about food poisoning. How this place is still open is beyond me. The quality’s dropped faster than the stomach ache we got after a single bite. I never thought I’d say this, but it’s officially a no-go. So sad to see this place become a biohazard.

UPDATE: When we took the food back basically as we got it and the owner was exceptionally rude. He put his hand in our face like he didn’t want to hear it and threw cash at us. Which is what prompted me to keep my initial review. I went back and read some other reviews on how rude this man is but first hand experienced it.

1st of all I'm from Michigan and it took me a long time to find a Chinese restaurant that was satisfying to me. When I did I have been ordering from this location only for the past 3 years. I never had an issue before this 5/7. I ordered house fried rice and egg foo young as usual. When I got home the meat (steak, shrimp & pork) in my rice was hard, dry and shriveled up. I called to complain because I live 30 mins from this restaurant and never had a issue before. He tell me bring it back and he will refund my money or make new rice. I told him I won't be back in that area until Wed for a Dr appointment. He say keep it and I will replace it just know next time you have to return the food. So upon going to this establishment after my appointment on 5/9 he asks for 2 day old rice. I said are you serious. I am not about to waste more gas and time for $8. At the same time you will never get my business again and I will make sure everybody I know that lives in that area how you have no customer...

I haven't been here in a while and couldn't remember if I liked this place or not. So, I decided to try it. ...MISTAKE!! I now remember why I didn't like this place. 😕

We ordered quite a bit, review on each item below. Egg Drop Soup - Thick and flavorless Eggrolls - Standard, filling bland and soggy; flavorless Shrimp Fried Rice - Had some flavor but very basic; shrimp were small and tasted fishy. 🤮 Veggie Lo Mein - Bland and veggies were limp, no flavor Honey Walnut Shrimp - This was a disaster! Nothing sweet about this dish, shrimp covered with thick breading, shrimp were over-cooked and tough. Total waste of money. Orange Chicken - Chunks large, over-cooked, hard and covered in the same goo as the honey walnuts shrimp. No real flavor and definitely not a hint of orange.

I am not a fan of Jade Dragon. This entire order was a waste of money. Most of the order we didn't eat and will toss. Find somewhere else to get ur Chinese food fix......
