Incredible dining experience! Sing Sing Sushi has been a go-to spot for me and my family for several years. This time, we visited to celebrate a friend's birthday. The recommendation came from a friend, and we all decided to carpool from Mall of Georgia. We started with the Fluke sashimi special, and our table was graced with a delightful assortment of つきだし(츠끼다시, Tsukedashi) served as side dishes. The spread included a variety of treats like steam egg, cheese corn, fried shrimp, and an array of seafood including abalone. The owner made some special offerings too, like live octopus, sea cucumber, and sea squirt. Not to forget, they surprised us with a perfectly broiled fish that was simply excellent in flavor. Each dish showcased freshness and exceptional taste. Soon, the star of the show arrived – the live fluke sashimi. The presentation was captivating, and the freshness of the fluke was evident. To complement this, we enjoyed red labeled Soju, and the pairing was delightful. The owners personally stopped by to greet us, and the waitstaff did an impeccable job attending to our needs. The restaurant smelled very fishy when I got there. (I know it's a sushi place, but I have never been in a sushi restaurant that smelled so pungent.)

Decided to take my order to go instead because of the smell, got the set that came with a California roll, spicy tuna roll, and some nigiri.

It all seemed very off. The color, sheen, and texture especially. The California roll was fine, but the spicy tuna roll was off. I tried one bite of the salmon nigiri and it also seemed off. It was all so flavorless. The other nigiri looked so bad that I didn't even try them. Some of it seemed discolored or dull in a way that nigiri i normally get doesnt look. And i get nigiri about once to twice a week feom various places, so i know what to expect.

Ended up throwing the entire thing away and going elsewhere.

I do not recommend this place. The service is terrible. I placed an order for pickup and was told it would be ready in an hour. However, when I arrived on time, the attendant informed me that I had to wait another 20 minutes—which ultimately turned into 35 minutes. Since they had my phone number, they could have at least notified me about the delay. To make matters worse, there are no seats inside, and the freezing weather outside made the wait unbearable.

To compensate for the long wait, they said they would offer something extra, but in the end, they didn’t. When I asked about it, they just said they were too busy. How unprofessional! Because I placed a takeout order from this place, my Friday night dinner gathering was completely ruined. My friends had to wait an extra two hours, and the whole experience left me feeling...
