NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD A HAIRCUT AS BAD AS THIS. Listen, I LOVE my (old now) long hair so muchhh and I came to just get a simple straight perm so I wouldn't need to deal with frizz, but I have a very small section of my underhair bleached, and I asked if we could just leave my bleached part alone and y'know just perm my virgin hair and trim the split ends at the bottom. She says noo it's impossible and I agree because I'm stupid (ladies, be smart!). I've done some research now and guess what? It was so TOTALLY POSSIBLE! It's actually an extremely common practice and any self respecting, not evil person would do that. She could've separated it or wrapped it up and just permed my healthy hair, but she chopped it off. Oh, and I can't forget that she also chopped off all my healthy hair. "It's too damaged" (I know for a fact it isn't it's just the split ends at the bottom) and she said that "if I cut it this short (shoulder length) the MAGIC would last forever!" Girl, what magic all im looking at an uneven curse. Again, im stupid and easily pressured into things so I say yes, but not before I ask to have it longer.... guess what didn't happen? All of that! She cut 12 inches off! (Or just about) i had a little shorter than waist length hair and now it's the closest thing to a bob I have ever done. It's not even even! It's so ugly and the ends don't match up! I would so much rather have split ends than this! I'm writing this at midnight because i spent the whole day crying and now im just mad. Listen, I've heard this place was supposed to be good but apparently that's all propaganda! DONT FALL FOR IT! I would give negative stars if I could! came here on a recommendation. asked for a style suggestion to help cover balding temples. stylist Jia smirked and sarcastically responded by saying how that couldn't be done with any kind of haircut. okay, rude. fine, i'll settle for whatever you recommend. she then proceeded to spend the entire time pointing out how bad the rest of my hair is getting, assuming that i must not be doing anything about it, and saying that the only way to fix this was with a hair transplant in korea. am i your friend or a client that you're meeting for the first time today? explain to me why i'm getting this unsolicited advice that's beyond offensive and ridiculous to execute?

thank god this unfortunate encounter lasted only 20 minutes. shorter than any other place i've been to. it was so obvious during the entire time that she was putting in zero effort and did such a mediocre job. i asked for suggestions at the end on how to style it, to which she literally rubbed my hair over with her fingers and said how she left it was fine with such a piss poor attitude. maybe if she spent less time talking and more time pretending like she actually cared i would've left two stars. $35 for this kind of experience? i'd rather donate to make sure that the stylist took some courses on basic communication. if you're reading this,...

Do not come to this hair salon! Especially if you are individual with long hair, or you have ideas of growing out your hair in a particular style.

I wanted to have a perm and a dye. When I showed one of the barbers there, I said that I wanted to have this particular hairstyle, and I wanted it to be close as possible to the one that I obtained previously. I made it clear that I wanted it to be exact. (If she could not speak English, then she could've used a translator, but I assumed that she understood what I was saying.) She nodded, and said it was fine.

I understand if you cannot perm and dye hair properly, but please tell the customer you are not capable of doing a perm and/or dye or have someone else do it for you instead of completely sabotaging and botching someone's hair. My entire family laughs for this failure of hairstyle that I obtained, and I cannot go outside without wearing a hat.

I SPENT $220 DOLLARS FOR THIS, AND I ONLY GOT A PARTIAL REFUND. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT.
