Tappa Keg Inn — Restaurant in Duluth

Haven't not been here in a long time, so I wanted to try it again. But after last night's to go order, I would not recommend this to anyone. It was awful food. We ate it only because we were hungry and I was already home. It's my fault for not checking the to-go boxes before I left. I had been a line cook and sous chef and various restaurants in this area, and I would have never served the food this cook served. Ordered the chicken tender basket and the fish basket and an order of onion rings, and the only thing that wa decent was the onion rings, but they were not overcooked and were super cold. The tenders were super small and dried out and hard. French Fries were barely cooked soggy. The fish for the fish basket was overcooked and burnt and tasteless. I can not believe that the cook would cook any of this food...

This is a horrible restaurant. Just keep driving. My daughter tried to order the kids Mac & cheese and asked the server politely if it was homemade or packaged. The server then assured her it was homemade. I ordered a blue cheese "polar burger". When the server brought us our food 30 minutes later (even though there were only two other groups neither of which were ordering food) my burger had blue cheese Salad Dressing on it and my daughter's Mac and cheese was Kraft Mac and cheese. All food came either cold or lukewarm. By the way we ordered the jumbo honey glazed wings for 13 dollars and got 6 of the tiniest wings I've ever seen with almost no glaze. They had in the past a really good fish fry on Friday night, however after the visit tonight I will have to say that it wasn't up to par, service was good to start out, order came out quick and that's about where it started to go down hill, the fish was dark brown(fried too long) the fish fillets I expected from the past were fish nuggets, tasty but I've had chicken nuggets that were bigger, waitress asked us if we wanted more fish(all you can eat), it took 20mins to get the reorder, then 10 more minutes to get a refill on soda, then another 20mins for a reorder of fish, should've known but there was two of us that were quite hungry, other than the slow and somewhat long wait time for things I don't think that I'll...
